Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. The distance to the beach was the best thing.

Francequality to price ratio is horrible. I was put into a very old and outdated room which was not worth the price at all. It was spacious, and the balcony was great ... but besides that, all the furniture was completely outdated and falling apart.

I loved the view from the balcony. The water pressure in the shower. The pool bar and patio were great. The check in process was simple easy. I would stay here again just for the view and pool bar.

ItalyThe room was very old and clearly required renovation. I chose this hotel mainly because it claimed it had a kitchenette but it turned out to be just a microwave which could not be opened completely due to the architecture of the counter over which it was placed. The drawers around the microwave were empty, no plates or cutlery whatsoever and the sink would always leak a bit. The table was inhabited by termites, so I would find piles of "wood powder" every morning (I took a picture). The pipes in the bathroom were probably very old, every time I took a shower the whole bathroom would smell of sewerage, and the whole room would smell of that too when I'd forget to close the bathroom door. Finally, there's a door somewhere that does not close properly so when the weather is windy you can hear it banging repeatedly, and since it's just weather dependent it could happen at 2 in the night as well as 7 in the afternoon... good luck having a good night sleep.
The hotel had a few positive sides such as friendly and helpful staff and a decent range of choices for breakfast, both sweet and savory and there was also some gluten-free food. The gym was small but had a lot of different machines and the swimming pool was quite nice.

UruguayRooms in need of maintenance. The sofa, curtains and lamp shade in the room had very visible mold stains. The room was not cleaned every day. Check in took forever and the two girls in reception just stood there, wouldn’t look us in the eye and wouldn’t tell us what was going on. Fortunately, later we talked with Arthur in reception who was very helpful and solved our issues quickly.
Very good amenities, great outdoor pool, gym, very good buffet breakfast.

BrazilCheck-in was an absolute disaster. First, 3pm is really late for check-in. We arrived at 2pm and 3 (!) receptionists told us that we can´t check in, even the administrative part without accessing the room. Told us to come back at 3pm. At 3pm there was a line of 20 people and check-in took us 1h. Terrible start! Completely inefficient. Receptionists have nothing to do for hours and then can´t handle the crowd when everyone wants to check in at 3pm.
Great location, directly at Barra´s beach. Reasonable breakfast, although not great. Pool is nice but overcrowded.
