For the price this is a very reasonable choice. Owner Indio is very nice and helpful man. This accomodation is few minutes from the centre of a village, surrounded by nature. I can recommend for staying on Ilha Grande. In case i come back to that island, this will be my choice again.

If there are also other guests in another room, there can be of noise, especially if their room in above yours (you can hear very significantly their every move, every step).

Friendly host, clean, comfortable, all mod cons, and in nature. A sound sleep guaranteed.

A blanket would have been nice as it was cold during the night. A bed light would make the room more cosy at night also. It was either too bright at night or too dark with the red bed lights on, making reading difficult. Still, a lovely room!

Incredible little spot at the top of the village in the jungle. Paradise in paradise.

We enjoy cooking our meals and found the teflon pots and pans in rough shape. Definitely did the job!

Loverly location, quiet and away from the town. it's a nice place to relax. The staff where helpful.

The WiFi didn't work the first day, but this is probably a one off problem.

The place was clean, spacious and with a wonderful view. The facilities were a big plus: mini fridge, water boiler, ac and a shared kitchen. Really beautiful location and attentive host! Would totally stay here again!

The only minus is that because of the type of construction, the place is not soundproof. For us it wasn’t a big deal but it’s something that can bother. Also please mind the walk to the accommodation is not on even terrain, but we loved it!

The location of this accommodation is really special. Although it is only 10 minutes walk from the boats/main streets it is hidden in jungle. Paths take you through the trees. I did not expect the quality of room we had. It was great, spacious and everything you could need. There was a kettle and fridge in the room and kitchen facilities if you want them. The decked veranda is very attractive surrounded by banana leaves. On there you can sit or eat your breakfast. Hosts were very helpful and communicative. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights. Thank you

Liked everything Take a torch, most of the path is lit but there are small areas where it is needed Insect repellent needed for outside areas as it is jungle If unsure how to find it take the right fork at the cemetery and turn right at the big metal box

We loved our stay! The room was equipped with a fridge which was super handy, bed was comfy, shower was great. No complaints! There is a small shared kitchen which you can use too, which is kept immaculate by the owners. Really nice to make breakfast in the morning and sit in their garden listening to the sounds of the jungle. There is 10 minute walk up to the property with a bit of a gradient. But who comes to Ilha Grande and doesn’t expect a bit of a walk/climb! So many restaurants and bars in Abrãao, you’re spoilt for choice. Our highlight of the trip was a walk there and back to Dois Rios. We loved our stay here and would 100% recommend

The room is beautifully decorated and the garden is beautiful (loved the garden shower). I didn't meet the hosts but they were always available to answer on WhatsApp. I really enjoyed the fact that there was A/C in the room, and it was turned on before I arrived. There was also a fridge in the room.

Keep in the mind that the house is located a 20 minute walk away from the peer. If you have a suitcase, it's a bit annoying to walk all the way to the house because part of the path goes through the forest. Also at night, the path is quite dark.

Overall a good and simple location to stay at. The surrounding nature was nice. It was great service that the host picked us up apon arrival and walked us to the accommodation. Easy communication with the host via Whatsapp. We recommend not bringing suitcases just hand luggage/back-packs, since it is 10-15min walk from harbor and uphill.

The air conditioning in our room was extremely loud. The power there is very weak so the air conditioning and fan went off and on lots of times. It was not possible to shower and use the air conditioning at the same time. We had a bunch of large ants in the room. They entered through little gaps in the walls and ceiling. We had a groundfloor room and the noises (steps, voices) from the room above were quite loud.

    Property response:

unfortunately in high season with extremely hot temperatures (worst wave of heat in a lot of years in Rio de Janeiro) the power electricity in the island stays bad and wick... also in our accommodation. in the middle of the jungle.. with not normal power potency., of course is not possible to turn on the hair dryer, air conditioner, shower all in the same time.,..

The property was perfect! Indio was so helpful and even met us on the day of check in and helped us carry our bags to the place. We were able to do 2 x laundry here. We did an amazing canoe tour with Indio who really took his time to show us the island and made sure we got to see some of the islands best beaches and marine life. Communication was fantastic and Indio replies quickly with any questions you have and is eager to help and make your stay comfortable.

There was nothing we did not like about the property however it is slightly uphill and a 10 minute walk to the centre it’s quiet and very relaxing and has a lovely seating area outside to take in the jungle atmosphere - we did not mind this but just incase anyone is older who is unable to walk far this should be considered with the heat!

I have loved the place. It is away from the village, a cute walk through the jungle to get there and we are surrounded by trees and birds singing. The bedroom was nicely decorated and was confortable. The hosts Indio and Agustina are very nice and help in any way they can ! I would recommend this place !

It unfortunately lacks noise insulation and we can hear pretty loudly the other travelers in the rooms. If they are calm and respectful people it’s really ok as they won’t speak so loud. But I had 2 nights out of 4, with rude and very noisy neighbours which was more annoying. Apart from this everything is perfect

lovely decorated room, clean, nice balcony, good working AC, great communication with the hosts, it is somehow in the jungle, Indio is a great host - he meets you in town to show you to the house, takes care of any inconvenience right away and offers great canoe tours! we did the night tour which we can really recommend!

AC was too loud; room isolation could be better, we heard our neighbours talking when we were inside our room; it is somehow in the jungle (has its pros and cons), some minutes uphill from the village (which was really annoying when coming with your luggage) and some minor parts of the way are not lighted at night, but we used our mobile phones and that was okay

The location was stunning, we stayed in the upstairs room and could see over all the treetops. Indio and Agus made us feel so welcomed and helped us make the best memories, despite the weather!

Nothing really, perhaps have some maps of the walking routes readily available? But thats not really a bad thing just a suggestion :)

They were very helpful. Every question I had they replied super quick. And I appreciated the extra's. Coffee in the room, basic things in the common kitchen. I would come back. I think most people who are coming over there are coming for peace and quietness. Otherwise you could hear them.
