This place is an absolute gem. My husband is from Czech Republic and I am American and we have traveled to many beaches across the world including Europe, South America, Central America and Asia. This is one of the most beautiful hotels located right in the middle of some of the most stunning beaches in the world. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Hotel Sombra e Agua Fresca offered a pleasant four-night escape in Pipa. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, with Vicente at the pool bar providing outstanding service. The location is excellent, placing you within walking distance of Praia de Amor and the lively town center, making it easy to explore the surrounding beaches. My apartment, number 3, was located on the hilltop, offering beautiful views near the pool and restaurant. While the hill might be a challenge for some, the hotel's car service was readily available. Access to the gym at Spa Floresta was a valuable perk, and I found the facility to be well-equipped and spacious. The hotel's grounds are meticulously maintained, though some of the furnishings and bedding could use an update to match the overall quality. Breakfast was a highlight, with made-to-order omelets being a particular favorite. However, other menu items were somewhat inconsistent, with the 'misto quente' being the standout. Despite these minor points, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Hotel Sombra e Agua Fresca for its excellent location, friendly staff, and overall pleasant atmosphere.

To access the upper portion of the resort, you will likely have to climb a hill due to its location. I valued going on late-night hill climbs, it's not something I didn't like and since it is the reason for the breathtaking views, it is not a problem. Additionally, the resort has a round-the-clock golf cart service to transport visitors up and down.

Everything about this place was excellent, including the breakfast bar, the pools, the views, and the overall experience. From the first to the fourth day, we received royal treatment. Every interaction we had with staff members from check-in to check-out seemed like a conversation with our closest family members. We felt delighted, loved, respected, cared for, and welcomed when they catered and gave us assistance and recommendations. We experienced enormous fulfillment and happiness every day of our vacation. The breakfast bar was amazing, the views were astonishing, the pools were incredible, and everything from start to finish was top-notch. Everyone has access to all three of the resort's locations, which are separated into distinct areas. Each of them has a distinct advantage, and they are all within walking distance of one another. The primary resort situated atop the hill offers stunning views. There isn't a resort in Pipa with the same views. It offers breathtaking views of the ocean and forest from all angles. There are two primary pools, one of which is heated. In this part, the majority of the rooms face the ocean. Keep in mind that this section of the resort is hilly; even though you can ride a golf cart up and down, some elderly guests may find it difficult. Although the views in the other two portions are not as spectacular because of their lower elevation, they do include larger rooms that can hold bigger parties. A few of them have four or three suites. There are seven interconnected pools in the Forest location. Including showers, a waterfall, and a wet bar. Lastly, I wanted to make sure that everyone on the team knew how much they contributed to our incredible trip, even though I'm sure I'll forget a few. Among the names I can recall are Bruna, Jose, Fabio, Baiano, Reinaldo, Betania, Cookie (Bolacha!!), Sylmara, Katarina, and everyone else in this incredible resort our sincere gratitude for such an amazing time! Honestly it was a perfect staying! Only the sauna could be available for the guests with no extra cost.

Just amazing! Even better than the pictures. The room is super confortable, beautiful and clean. The internet is also great if you have to work from the hotel. The hotel facilities are also amazing! Pools are beautiful and warm. Also quiet and relaxing!
