Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe room was a bit tired. The advertised gym wasn’t available throughout our stay. We had a coffee machine but no coffee. When we asked at reception we were told we could order some would be charged extra for it! (This information wasn’t apparent at time of booking) Not able to bag ourselves a lounger on the roof unfortunately.
Location was fabulous, view from side room was fantastic. Could see Sugar loaf mountain & Copacabana beach. Really comfy bed. Roof top pool and bar nice. Beach and pool towels provided 👍 Bar staff downstairs were nice, gin & tonic was strong!

United KingdomThere honeslt wasn't much we didn't like although we felt the bathroom needs a bit of a touch up and is a little outdated when comparing to the rest of the hotel.
Location was perfect, we booked a suite with a sew view which I would strongly recommend as you get such an incredible view of the Copacobana beach at sunrise but you also get a lovely view at nigjt when the the whole area is lit up. Othon is significantly taller than the other hotels on the beachfront and this meant you get a wonderful view on the rooftop where they have a lovely infinity pool. The bed was huge and so comfortable, which made that extra difference for us. The room also had a 42 inch TV with netflix, amazon prime etc which was great for any lazy time in.
