Bed too hard and there’s no soundproof windows and you can also hear the neighbor through the walls. Too noise sometimes.

The apartment is situated on a lovely street, surrounded by great shops and restaurants. The apartment itself was simple but met our needs. Nothing particularly special, but it was comfortable enough. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and they kindly allowed us a late check-out.

Some renovation would be welcome. I believe rooms may vary significantly. Although price point is fair - so maybe unfair to expect major renovations as they will likely move away from a good price point.

We loved the hotel’s patina - the original mid-century furnishing is a treasure, which I hope they will keep. The location is perfect on R. Oscar Freire in the cozy and very safe Jardins neighborhood. Gorgeous breakfast at the hotels own Michelin starred restaruant Picchi - which we also tried an were amazed by. Our first choice if revisiting São Paulo.

The overall appearance of the rooms and hotel facilities was kind of old - everything was clean but not very new. The contact with the hotel via booking was not great (even in Portuguese) and we weren't able to have much information or questions answered before our arrival. The night receptionist was not that welcoming and simply handed us the room keys with no further details (we had to ask the breakfast hours, location, check out time, pull location and opening hours and other basic rules of an hotel). The staff was nice during the rest of our stay.

Great location - it was the main reason I chose this hotel ! The hotel has a 24h service so it's great as we arrived with a late flight. The breakfast was awesome, a very traditional Brazilian breakfast and we could do additional requests as the chef was available ! We had a beautiful day so we were able to enjoy the pool on the rooftop and were alone - it was definitely a plus !

The only criticism is that the fitness area is small and very dated. It is OK for a one off work out but if you are going to stay longer and like to exercise you would need to explore using some of the excellent gyms in the vicinity.

We have stayed here several times now. The love the location and the staff are brilliant. The rooms are comfortable and they have a kitchen and a sitting area and a space to work. The hotel is quite discrete and has a Michelin star Italian restaurant which serves as the breakfast area in the morning.

No carpets in the rooms so one could get furniture scraping above at times Gym in house under renovation .. needs completing as more convenient than going to top form

The hotel is just commencing a process of renovating the rooms. Our room, the bathroom and kitchenette were clean, but certainly in need of updating and painting.

Lots of space. Separate living room and kitchenette. Private safe included in closet. Very quiet.

Minor matters: I happen to like eggs in the morning, but they were not offered as part of the included breakfast (although I believe you may be able to order them); that said, the other breakfast offerings were quite good. The neighborhood is also a little bit more of a busy, high-end shopping district than I'd prefer – it reminded me a bit of SoHo in New York.

Since I do not speak Portuguese, I appreciated that so much of the staff spoke English. They were also very helpful and efficient generally The location is central and close to many conveniences including not only restaurants but also a grocery store, pharmacy, and even a small shopping mall. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Everything really was very satisfactory and I'd be happy to stay there again.
