Ari, the owner, made my stay feel both comfortable and homey. The room was exactly as advertised, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Breakfasts were delicious—especially the homemade cakes. There was even a dedicated space for kite gear, which was very convenient. Ari’s staff were professional, attentive, and excellent throughout my stay. What really stood out was Ari himself. He’s a wonderful host, and I enjoyed many great conversations with him. He offered spot-on recommendations, from the best restaurants to local kiting conditions, and even organized downwinders. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ari’s Pousada to anyone looking for a welcoming and memorable stay.

Ari is the owner of the Pousada and he is the nicest man we have ever met. He is very helpful and from the first moment we met we liked him. We immediately felt like home. His English is very good. The breakfast is amazing, especially the homemade cakes. The room offers everything you need and the location is perfect for going kitesurfing at the lagoon. The sunset is very authentic and beautiful. We really appreciate Ari and will come again. When you once meet Ari, you will never forget him. The deep talks with him and his way of life is very special and there should be more people like him.

Ari, the owner, is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. He was never imposing, but had a way of doing everything possible to make our trip incredible. The location is great, the rooms are awesome (places for kite gear etc). We felt welcome and important our entire stay. one of the best places I have ever stayed.

The place is very cozy and right in front of the lagoon beach. The host Ari is the nicest and most helpful person ever, he speaks good English, always makes sure everything is all right and that you are happy. He will happily give you kiting tips and also trach you some Portuguese if you want, if you are lucky he may even help you untangle your kite lines after an unexpected trip into mango trees! The all-you-can-eat breakfast which we had included will keep you going until sunset if you like. It was my first time Ilha do Guajiru, it's good for learning and when I go there next time I will not look for another place to stay but go back straight to Pousada Ventos do Guajiru!

Very pleasant host who really takes care of his guests. Managed to injure my foot and the host joined the hospital as an interpreter. The host kites and has provided facilities for his guests with an electric pump and his own lookout post over the lagoon. super breakfast with a lot of focus on good fruit. The room has opportunities to hang clothes etc. some that you don't see very often.

The water in the outside shower had a bad smell and the shower pressure wasn’t great.

Stayed one night with Arer and he and the facilities were excellent. It had the laid back feeling like Byron Bay in Australia. Just sorry we didn't stay longer.. If you are looking for a place just to relax and surf then this is the place.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at this pousada! The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming, making it easy to meet other guests, but there’s also plenty of space for a quiet escape. For kitesurfing, the location is unbeatable—just 100 meters from the starting zone, with a compressor on-site, so no pumping required! It’s also a quick 2-minute walk to “Do Mar,” where you can take lessons, launch and land kites, and enjoy a great meal. Our room was simple yet comfortable, equipped with AC, a large bathroom, drying areas for kite gear, and a hammock to relax. The host, Ari, made all the difference—he’s warm, helpful, and even took us to the hospital when needed, translating at the doctor’s. Truly a place that feels like home. Highly recommend!

The rooms are perfect for sleeping, but a little desk could be of help (at least the room I was in, didn't have any). I didn't ask, so probably Ari would have hooked me up either way, but I was only 4 days, so I didn't really need it. For longer stays, a desk would be nice.

Breakfast is okay, location is perfect, and Ari is the best host i've ever had. I was traveling solo, looking for some downwinders. Ari made a few calls and within 5 minutes he hooked me up with the best downwind of my life. I would stay again just because how nice the host is.

The location, at 2 minutes walking distance from the center but still in a quiet area. The owner is a wonderful person, he is always at customers disposal to provide any kind of help and support for whatever request possible. He truly and genuinely cares for his customers. The facility offers loads of space to store your kite equipment and a space to wash it with clean water. The rooms are comfortable and spotless clean, the breakfast is very yummy, offering tons of fresh fruits, sweet and salty dishes, even cooked on the spot. Plenty of parking space just in front of the hotel. This is the second year in a row that I stay at this hotel and I am looking forward to going again next year. I definitely recommend all kite surfers and not, to stay at this lovely Pousada.

We had a great Kitesurf stay! The breakfast is great and location right at the kite spot. But mostly, Ali the owner is the best! He helped me finding my lost kite and board after a kite accident. He also gave us many good tips and made sure our trip was perfect! Highly recommend staying here when you are looking for a good Kitesurf trip.

There was nothing not to like! We enjoyed our stay very much.

We've had a fantastic stay here. Senhor Ari (the owner) goes above and beyond to make sure your stay at this pousada is memorable. In fact, he is the friendliest and nicest Brazilian I have ever met. The rooms have everything you need, including AC and a fridge. The place is just perfect for kitesurfing (let's face it, otherwise you wouldn't be here). You could dry your wet gear on the balcony and the lagoon is just a few steps away. The property has an air compressor to inflate your kites and a shower to rinse your gear. The pousada is about a 2 min walk from the main road with the nice restaurants. Yet, these 100 meters are enough to keep your room quiet at night. The breakfast is very good: both a buffet and made-to-order. The whole vibe is fantastic and I promised Ari and myself I would go back one day! After our stay in Ilha de Guajiru we went to Jeri. If I were to pick only one destination I would definitely pick the laid-back atmosphere in Ilha de Guajiru over the crazy crowds in Jeri.

I had a great experience at Pousada Ventos do Guajiru. The host, named Ari, is a wonderful person who will take care of you and make sure that you feel comfortable. He will do his best to satisfy any possible request, from a special check-in time to any specific food you wish at breakfast, to kite equipment school and rental, transportation etc. The facility is simple, very comfortable, spotless clean. The location is just 1-2 minutes walk from the center of the village. At the hotel, you will have plenty of space to keep your kite equipment safe. Breakfast is very yummy, with a large selection of fresh fruits, juices, tea, coffe, milk, cakes, biscuits, cooked dishes like eggs and tapioca and much more. I can only strongly suggest to chose this Hotel for your stay at Ilha do Guajiru!

There honesty is nothing to complain about. I stayed for 2 months and I don't have a single complaint.

It is the perfect place to stay in Ilah. Great staff, great breakfas, great location. The owner of the Pousada will make you feel right at home. The bathrooms are very clean, and the beds were the most comfortable of all the beds I tried in Brasil. Every problem I had I received immediate help no matter th issue. We were driven to the supermarket, to different spots and we received help when parts of the Kite equipment broke. I am still very greatful for that.
