How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Depending where your room is, it can be quite noisy since the hotel is located in a very lively area. My room was near the main street there was very loud live music seemed right next to the hotel. Thankfully it was a weekday so at around 11 the music was turned off, but I’d imagine on the weekends is a different story
It’s an old property, but it’s nice and cozy, friendly staff, great location

the staffs are friendly but speak limited english. but no issue using google translate. instead of hotel this is more like a B&B but cozy

The room window was looking at the hallway next to the reception, which was a bit awkward.
Value for money option, with a decent breakfast buffet included.

Room had no airco but that was compensated by fans, so no issue for us.
Location is perfect. Safe neighbourhood and indeed close to Av Paulista. Rooms were reasonable and we really liked the nice hotel breakfast :)

The room was really poorly decorated with torn vinyl floor and missing pieces of vinyl at places. The walls had water damage with painting flaking away! The room was very small and the only window is right where the head end of the bed and opens into the hotel corridor. So, there's no way you could open that window! Claustrophobic! The breakfast was just average! If you think that the price is slightly cheaper, it is for a reason!

Breakfast was really great, something a bit different everyday, Wi-Fi was perfect and never dropped once in the whole two weeks I was there was able to have back to back video meetings sharing screen and videos etc. Rooms nice and clean, good location close to metro, shops and restaurants, fridge and desk in the room and new AC, awesome place to stay if you working!

1. The quality of the room vs price (~340 reales). I know it's good location but the room was really old fashioned and simply super ugly (it's like 0 star hotel room in countryside of an Eastern European country in early '90, and come on, this is Sao Paulo, the biggest city in LATAM) 2. No second towel and not enough bathing samples for 2 people (i booked for 2). 3. Noisy - the window glass is thin 4. English issues in the morning staff shift 5. It didn't feel very clean Additional things that i didn't like but are not part of my rating since these are not obligatory criteria: 1. Fan instead of air conditioning (it's in the description of the room so it's not past of my rating). The standard fan was not working. 2. Not enough flexible staff (i asked for a plate of food to eat it after breakfast given time since i came back from a party at 7:30) - again it's not staff obligation but it would really be a small gesture to at least leave some fruits. My mom runs a hotel so i know that staff flexibility is crucial in such facilities.
I liked the staff in the evening, a woman spoke some English and was helpful. The location is good and safe. The common area seems to be very nice.as well. So there is big potential.

- we found two cockroaches in our room so moved to a higher floor. but this room was facing the road and there was building works going on which didn’t finish until midnight and started again at 5am. - the Wi-Fi wasn’t working
