The staff did not speak one single word of english. What is surprising in a touristy place like that. Not even the words 'breakfast' or 'towel' which are very normal in a hotel. There was no power on the island when we arrived, so we wanted to check the amount we had to pay in our email first, before payment. They were really pushy and knocking on our door late in the evening for the payment. At the swimmingpool there were no tables or chairs, everything was just stagged up against the wall what made it not very welcoming to sit there. Two chairs outside the room would have been nice, to enjoy a sigaret or just chill outside the room in the evening. Not necessary but just a tip.

Breakfast was okay, but a little bit too basic. Some yoghurt would have been nice. More egg (this was finished all the time and you had to wait). No bacon to add on the egg. No toaster. It was okay.. but very very basic.

When I arrived, the lady at the reception said she couldn't accept my payment and that I should do it the next day. The next day I had to rush to pay for it when I had a scheduled boat ride, so they made me pay for it at a very inconvenient time. So that was off. Also, the owner of the hotel apparently kept watching the cameras to see if things were ok and to call out staff members if things weren't ok. Cautious or creepy? I'm not sure. Hotel was very clean and smelled good. Bring bug sprays and do not drink juices or anything that doesn't come in a closed bottle and you'll have a blast on the island!

The hotel is cute and comfortable. The location is great, nice breakfast as well. Maria, who works there is a sweetheart. They prep fresh eggs for you in the morning, on top of what's already offered in the hotel.

Please avoid this place . The worse Posada in the island. Staff extremely rude and careless as they were doing us a favour even to check us in. No facilities at all. We understand that the Posada is supposed to be humble but not at that extreme. Property old and smelly. Water not hot and room noisy .We stayed for 3 nights and we just had 1 small soap bar and even when was completely consumed they didn't replace it ( we bought our own shower gel and shampoo ), same for the toilet paper. No hair dryer available, not even to borrow, actually they laughed in my face when I asked. They have strict rules as late check in (12 PM )and early check out (10 am ) no other property have the same rules. Breaskfast just from 8am to 10 am and if the juice was finished they wouldln't supply more, if fruit was finished you had to wait ages for the lady to cut it. Other posadas offers 5pm coffee and cake , not this one! Unfortunately there was not much available at time of booking as we did last minute. The receptionist one of the days refused to let in my partner as he went down for water while I was in the room as they wouldn't accept his name and they had to wake me up to confirm. Last but not the least they refused to keep our luggage ( cabin bags) for a couple of hours after the check out !! Wasn't notified and written anywhere and we genuinely asked as generally hosts don't mind keeping it for few hours ( we just had to wait for the boat ) the receptionist was extremely rude she didn't even apologise she just said no and she said that she wasn't worried about our disappointment as was none of her businesses. Please if you can enjoy this beautiful island elsewhere !
