The bathroom was not very clean in one of the rooms, we found hairs on different spots of the bathroom. There is not a lot of acoustic isolation and you can hear a lot the other guests and the kitchen in one of the rooms. The room was a bit cold during the night (it was July). Bathroom is very small. The door of the bathroom was not locking in one of the rooms.

Location is very good. The view is nice and it is 10 minutes walking distance from the historic center. Staff was very attentive and efficient, they were also very helpful with the activities in the city. Breakfast is very delicious and fresh.

Wow, what a unique and special gem in Paraty! We had such a wonderful and delightful stay there. The serene ambiance and breathtaking views made our stay incredibly relaxing. We loved our spacious and pristine room, reading in the hammocks on the stunning terrace, chilling by the pool in the gorgeous garden and the varied and delicious breakfast watching birds and marmosets feasting on fruit! The staff at the hotel, especially Sergio, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. We highly recommend Pousada Morre do Forte and would definitely go back there.

We like it all.

Hotel was fabulous. Eating hotel's daily breakfast with a gorgeous view was the highlight of our mornings. We also looked forward to the afternoon coffee with a cake slice. Staff was superb and super helpful booking us a city tour with an English speaking tour guide. The hotel was about 5 minutes walk to the historic center, which we wanted to be a bit removed from the hustling of the party scene. We parked our rental car in front of the hotel with no issues. Shower was good and had a good water pressure. Our kids stayed in a room next to ours and they enjoyed their spacious room with their own TV. Kids were so thrilled seeing the monkeys every day. We all enjoyed laying on the hammock and relaxing after a long day at a nearby beaches. What a fun and dream vacation! We were sad to leave.

The bathroom is very small

Good room, with a perfect view. They also have a little pool, which is nice because if you want to go to a beach you have to take an uber or something, but that’s the matter for every accommodation in paraty. The breakfast was lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pousada Morro do Forte! It is close the old town, but enough outside to feel removed from the crowds. And the view over the town and out to the ocean is truly beautiful (but fair warning the reason there is such a nice view is that the guesthouse is on a hill (morro)!). The staff was super helpful and welcoming, too.

Bathroom is very small. Got a few bigger bugs in my room in the second night but well..

Small breakfast with awesome cakes and fresh juices and Pao de queijo. The staff was very friendly. 2 minutes walk to Praia do Pontal, 5 minutes max. to Centro Historico and also a few good restaurants a few meters away from the Pousada. Hammock and outside area withe view over Paraty is awesome.

My car looked a bit exposed being park there on one side of the road.

This place has fantastic views of Paraty and it is relative close to the centre. The wild animals (monkeys and birds) that came during breakfast to the feeder were super cool. The rooms were comfy and the staff (specially Sergio) were very attentive and nice.

I liked everything tbh, but to make it perfect there could be separate soap/shampoo/conditioner things in the bathroom.

Everything really. It is up a hill (hence the amazing view), but is only a short (5-10 mins) walk away from the historic centre. The view is unreal, and the place has a very peaceful vibe with loads of plants and birds around, and sometimes groups of marmosets visit in the morning - I was lucky to come for breakfast at the same time they did so I got to feed them. :) My room was lovely, spacious and clean, with a super comfy hammock on the balcony. Breakfast was great, staff were friendly and helpful. I’d come back to Paraty just to stay here again tbh.

We visited during the annual cachaça festival and since the hotel sits on a hill above where the festival takes place it was very noisy until 2 am. It's not the hotel's fault but it is something to consider if visiting Paraty during one of the town's many festivals.

Adorable pousada with great views of Paraty. Large breakfast buffet and accommodating staff. Walkable to everything in town (there is a hill though). Comfortable bed and large room.

This is a pretty boutique style hotel. The welcome and service was excellent. The staff are friendly and the views are stunning. Would definitely recommend if you like something a bit different.
