The best view in the hole island. The staff from front desk and restaurant is incredible kind and professional. Always eager to advise, support and take the time to provide a personal experience to the guest. Highlight to Oliver, it was his first week at the restaurant but showing personality of a great host. Concierge Carol with good advice for tours and activities and support to rent buggy or snorkel equipment. Breakfast is amazing and the restaurant deserves more credit as the meals are delicious and very well prepared. Location is perfect to walk to main village. We were lucky to have an early check in upon our arrival. Hotel makes chairs and umbrellas free to go to the beach

Amazing. Pousada Ecológica Akanã is incredible. The views from everywhere are stunning, the rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped. We had amazing views from everywhere in the room (and bathroom!). The breakfast and restaurant dishes are delicious. The hosts are polite, professional, kind and very helpful in every way. The place has a special quietness to it, a silence, a home feeling. The design is sophisticated and inspiring but very inviting and never arrogant. It has a simplicity to it that in my opinion is hard to find. Akanã is unique and hip just naturally, and the same can be said for the entire team, from the driver, Levy, to the hosts, Carol, Vivi and Duda. We travelled with our two adult sons and they loved our experience as much as we did.

The property was beautiful and the staff was amazing. Every single person was so kind throughout the entire pousada. They thought of every detail in this place. When it rained there was an umbrella in the rooms. They created a WhatsApp group for any questions or help during the stay. Breakfast was delicious. They also helped us with organizing excursions. We didn’t have to look up a thing. 10/10 recommend best stay ever.

I couldn't think of a single problem with my stay, not even if I tried very hard. This is the perfect place. I'm not kidding.

The pictures don't make it justice. This is THE BEST VIEW in the whole of the island. 3 times, when doing tours, the guides would point up (from the beach/ sea) and say "that inn on the top of the hill is the most exclusive view you can get, with a price tag to match". You literally wake up to a postcard, no other buildings on sight. Just the mountain, the beach and the sea. As for everything else: Staff is 11/10. Very attentive from beginning to end. Included breakfast again 11/10. Good quality, great selection. We actually ordered some additional stuff from the kitchen during breakfast and we're surprised when we looked at the bill and it wasn't an extra. The room is 10/10, spacious and comfortable, nice bathroom. They even left little sweets for us at our first and last night. The pool, again, has the best view you will ever lounge to. The hotel thoroughly exceeded expectations.

Best location on the island with a stunning view of the ocean and the Pico. Every breakfast, lunch or sunset drinks there are special. Rooms have the perfect view and the staff is extremely kind and accommodating. We loved our stay at Akana, the perfect place to stay to visit Noronha.

For being an eco pousada, there were a few things that were not aligned to this ethos or the overall : small toiletries that were imported, small plastic water bottles in the room (we went to the bar everyday to fill our large bottles, but each room should have a pitcher or larger vessel), new towels each day, air conditioning left on after service. The island made us surrender plastic bags when we landed, so this was a bit conflicting to me, but I will attribute it to being newer.

We loved it all!!!

Excellent location and view! The staff were all very nice and also spoke English. The concierge (Carol) was awesome! The communication via WhatsApp was excellent! We will stay here again!
