Really enjoyed my stay here, easily one of my favourite hostels I’ve visited. There was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere here and easy to meet people. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and it is a very homely hostel. I wished I could have stayed longer! The included breakfast is so good. There’s so much choice and the best part is they home-make a couple of delicious cakes each day for the breakfast - super tasty. Perfect location as is centred right on the river where it is so relaxing to sit, and a short walk to the historical centre. Free towels that get changed daily and clean spaces.

The hostel was very clean, they clean the rooms every day so everything is super clean. The breakfast is really good it had a variety of different kinds of foods which were all amazing. I definitely would recommend to stay at this hostel

From the moment we got there the staff were very helpful. Eric who was at the desk when we got there gave us the good news that our room had been upgraded as they try to do this where possible for every guest. He offered to help us with our luggage and gave a brief tour of the pousada and also helped us to book tours while we stayed there. It was a very relaxed atmosphere next to the river and it was a short walk to the nearby beach. The boat tour that they organise is a must it's great value for money and you get to go to some amazing places around paraty.

Swimming pool was not as appealing as on the photos. But all in all, good value for money.

Great hostel, beautifully located. Simple but nice and clean rooms/bathrooms. Breakfast was really good for the price! I highly recommend doing the boat tour from the hostel.

The beds/bedding were slightly outdated and a bit dusty

The location was fantastic, the breakfast great and the price very reasonable. The staff were also great, especially Eric who gave lots of sage advice and was always willing to help. The other people at the hostel were also very friendly and there was a social vibe

It got quite crowded at breakfast, some things were still missing at around 8:20, so if you have an early tour take that into account. We would have loved a few more utensils like as a toaster for breakfast and few things in the kitchen (deep plates or bowls, another chopping board, spoons). Overall it's not a complaint, just a tiny room for improvement :)

The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The place itself is a beautiful house on the river. We liked that there was a small kitchen to prepare a meal. The AC worked well and we could rest sooo good despite the heat of Paraty.

The room was basic, kind of small, but good. The AC in our room was very noisy.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The place has a warm and welcoming feel and very nicely decorated. The location by river and the company's own boat.

The beds and most importantly, the pillows were so uncomfortable. Rock hard and huge pillows. Bedroom also very small, loved the rest of it but this was a bit of a let down.

Lovely staff who let us drop bags and check in early. Central location. Really nice outdoor area. Very good breakfast.

A little more space for the breakfast buffet and a separate beverage section would reduce lines. Not a big deal.

The mattress was quite thin and not the most comfortable

The breakfast was one of the best I've had on my trip. It was a buffet of delicious fruits, breads with cheese and ham, eggs, sausages, cakes, and cereals. The staff were nice. They provide a towel and soap even in the dorms. 10 minute walk to the old town, 15 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the bus station.

Although everything was very clean, they didn't change the bathroom garbage bin often. There was one bathroom for 8 people, so it would get full and smelly very fast. Same with the toilet paper, it would run out fast, and I had to ask for a new one. The soap was about to finish, too, before my departure.

Staff was amazing, very helpful and eager to assist. Breakfast was very good, with a variety of products. Beds were comfortable and sheets smelled very clean. The location next to the river was amazing, you could have your breakfast or just hang around there.
