The staff is very sweet, but the service is not that good. There is still room for improvement. I notice that this is not only in the Pousada Capitú, but in all restaurants in that area.

The location and infrastructure are really nice. The place is perfect to relax. I have been visiting the place at least 4 times in the past 5 years.

Only negative point. My bungalow did not have the AC and the sun was hitting the bungalow all day long. So despite the fan when I was back it was very hot. However I could sleep well.

The place is amazingly immersed in the nature. The food is very good. The facilities are very simple and beautiful. The beach is right in front two steps away from the bungalow. We could see monkeys and big lizards.

While the view was breathtaking, it's worth noting that the beach facing rooms are situated behind the beach restaurant/bar. Although this didn't obstruct the view, it did take away a bit of the privacy. Additionally, I found myself wishing for a bit more natural light inside the hut, especially given its proximity to the sea. But, considering the layout, increasing the light could also reduce privacy due to the restaurant being nearby. Despite these small points, the experience was overwhelmingly positive. The staff were exceptional, and the surrounding nature made every moment magical. From spotting Sagui monkeys to ducks and iguanas, the wildlife added an extra layer of charm to the stay. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to reconnect with nature and enjoy a peaceful retreat.

Nestled between the stunning sea and a beautiful river, this place is the perfect gateway for anyone seeking peace and quiet. The serene environment surrounded by nature offers an ideal space to unwind. Though the hotel provides a variety of activities, from kayaking to horse riding, we chose to simply relax and soak in the calmness. However, for those staying longer, these adventurous options are definitely worth considering. We stayed in one of the cabanas facing the sea, which made falling asleep to the sound of waves a truly special experience. The sunrise is also stunning and you can enjoy it from the comfort of your hut.

The ocean view suite was perfect! We wanted to relax after a very busy Carnival season. Quiet. Calm. Natural. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast delicious. Bar next to the beach. Perfect. We didn't have to go anywhere. Spacious bungalow for two. Great sleep with the ocean crashing nearby.... A perfect getaway. Entertainment is a 10 min walk on the beach or by the river.

The best pousada I have ever been! Everything was so comfortable and perfect! The staff is amazing, the place is just in front of the beach, the breakfast I'll miss badly hahaaha, the atmosphere... Everything was really great.

We didn't like the bed and pillows, they were not so comfortable, the room was hot, there were frogs around the place and mosquitos . The sink was blocked and the distance from the room to the beach was kind of far. After 5 p.m. there is nowhere there you can get something to eat or drink.

We loved the beach, the breakfast was great, the food in general was good, the towels were clean. And the people who work there are wonderful. It is a peaceful place.

Imbassaí is a magical place, and Pousada Capitú makes stay there even more magical. Perfect place, very nice people, who make you feel like part of the family. I can only strongly recommend this place.

Few hotels we stayed at in Brazil have espresso coffee available. I did not specifically ask for it at Pousada Capitu as I grew accustomed to not having any during our stay, but it did not seem to be on offer there either. This is really not a big deal at all, but could be an improvement.

Beautiful place with great location right on the beach and a few hundred meters from the town centre. Comfortable and nicely decorated chalets. A decent size swimming pool. Helpful and friendly staff, including several English-speaking members (and the manager who is also fluent in English, German and Spanish). A nice range of activities available nearby (surf lessons, kayak and stand-up paddle, horse-riding...), which the pousada's team was very helpful in booking. Breakfast was delicious too, with fresh tropical fruit, house-made cakes, a good choice of bread and cereal.

Wish the restaurant had been open every day. I would have preferred a door to the bathroom. The mosquitoes were the worst we had on our 3 weeks in Brazil.

Beautiful location and really peaceful. Breakfast was good. Stunning beach. Lovely to see the marmosets and birds around the property. Canoe trip was excellent!

We were put in the smallest house ever and it wasn't facing the garden. Basically, it DIDN'T ALIGN with the description or the photos of the stay on booking - it was just a small room with a small wardrobe - no space really and NO DESK. The INTERNET WAS SUPER SLOW as well, although marketed as high-speed. Both of these made difficult the little bit of work on my laptop that I needed to do during my stay. I ended up using my cellular data and sitting in the common area. Furthermore, everybody would pass in front of our house on their way to the beach, spa, pool, restaurant/bar, and other stuff. They did offer us to switch to a different one after a day (when it freed up) but we were already set in the first one and decided to just stay in there for the additional night.

The location was great - the area super peaceful and the beach just lovely. There's hammocks and bedding arrangements in some areas of the pousada for guests to enjoy (every house also has one).
