Not far from the main centre but able to sleep well. Staff all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and cakes were very good!

Room is very small, something you'd expect in New York City but maybe not here. We booked a room with ocean view and got the worst one, Room 5 (try to avoid this one!). The ocean cannot be seen from the room. You have to weave yourself through the tiny room, onto the balcony and walk to the end of it to see it over the corner. Bathroom door is a louver door, so you can hear and smell everything that happens inside the bathroom.

The staff was very friendly and always around. Location is excellent for Abraao in my opinion because it is on the nicest part of the beach in Abraao, a bit away from the very busy town center, but still has some relaxed restaurants. It is a 10 min walk to town center. The view of the ocean is very pretty but don't expect a 180 degree view. Breakfast was good, standard.

Helen and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us tips on the hikes and beaches and restaurants. The staff were the best part of our stay. Two relaxed resident cats made us feel at home. The breakfast was wonderful. The room we had looked over the ocean and very clean.

Nothing at all, it was perfect!

Gleice Hellen was incredible. Such a nice and helpful host. She knows the island v well and recommended so many places for me to go. This small and cozy hotel was super nice and the room had a great view on the sea. The breakfast was great as well with lots of fresh fruit and a different homemade juice and cake everyday. I feel lucky I had the privilege to stay there for 5 days. I hope to come back soon!

the ONLY thing that isnt even bad, but you should keep in mind, is that the pousada's access is beach front and up a little hill. My husband and I had been traveling for some time before we reached Ilha Grande and so we had big luggage bags. If you have bags like we did, do yourself a favor and hire one of the guys with the carts to bring your bags to the pousada once you get off the boat on the island. Without bags the walk is lovely, but it is a bit of a chore if you are dragging a 25kilo bag in the sand behind you.

A beautiful pousada, up a charming flower and tropical plant filled "street". ( no cars on the island). We had room with a balcony overlooking the garden and the ocean a hundred meters or so in front of us. It was so nice to wake up and step out onto the balcony and have that surround you. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot with great pressure, and there was a good ac unit as well. The breakfast was delicious and they had an afternoon tea/coffee and cake set up as well which was a really nice touch. The ladies who worked there were all so nice and gave us great tips for things to do on the island and places to eat.

The staff: They are marvellous. Thumbs up for Helen and Sebastien. Two excellent people. They will make all efforts to make you comfortable. They're AMAZING! The place: Nice and cozy room. Small but cozy. The place is near to everything and you will enjoy it. Value for money: Is not the cheapest. Average value for money but you probably won't be better anywhere else. Final consideration: Greatly RECOMMENDED!

It was a little far from the center, but we liked being in the trees, and we liked the walks into town. It would have been nice to have a dresser or something to put away clothes.

Gorgeous pousada with an excellent breakfast and a great host, very friendly and helpful. The balconies were awesome for sitting and listening to the birds in the morning. The room was cleaned every day, with no intrusion, which was very nice because of the sand. Everything was just so, lots of attention to detail. We had an excellent stay!

Room isn't very big and a bit more of storage space would be good. We loved the terrace in front of the room, though. To reach the property, you have to walk a bit throught the sandy beach and there is also a small hill . It didn't bother us much, but can ve problem for somebody elsem
