The facilities need to be renewed. The room is smaller than it looks and there is a lot of humidity

The location is unbeatable, right on the main beach street. The room is simple but comfortable. We were able to rest on comfortable beds. The room was clean and everything in good condition. The staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious. Absolutely recommend.

Too warm for the frutos on the breakfast

Location - very close to the main pier and I didn't have to carry all my luggage across the entire island. Very friendly staff, very polite and well informed. Big thumb up from me, Janaina - you provided all the useful information but the weather was not up to the expectations. BBQ area, pool, AC unit, comfortable bed.

Quite old rooms and furniture, very tiny bathroom (especially the shower), I had to wait forever for hot water but once running everything was good, maybe a bit more furniture in the room (a table, a chair) to put the staff on. But hey... I was on Ilha Grande and everything was the same as I figured out.

The staff! I have no guess as to how to spell her name but the woman at the front desk could easily be a concierge at a fancy hotel, but she is a treasure to have on the island. She made me feel very welcome, spending a lot of time helping me book the right tour for me plus arranging a transfer. And I did not make it easy on her as I only speak English. Also the breakfast was very good, loved the tropical fruit, jams, and the cake assortment. I thought it was a very good value for the money. The room was small but I am a solo traveler so it was not an issue for me. It is also ideally located right on the main strip close to the beach and pier.

Excellent location, right in front of the main pier. Super friendly staff. And most special was that there is always fresh coffee and cake any time of the day

It was great

Great location, easy to walk from Abrao pier with luggage. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was simple, but very good, with fresh cakes each day. They made us an omelette each day, and were happy for us to eat other meals at the tables with food from outside.

As other reviews have said, the rooms are a little small, and in need of renovation. But once you are prepared for that, it’s no great hardship. We saw evidence that the pool area was being renovated during our stay. So, probably like most hotels, they are still in recovery post Covid.

Fantastic breakfast and friendly staff to deal with.

Family room was quite small and not properly maintained; dirty walls and the bathroom door was broken. I trust the renovations they were doing will improve the place.

Good location, close to everything, friendly staff, good breakfast

The pictures on Booking are old. The garden is full of trash, the pool is not usable and the pool table is broken. You can not sunbath in the garden.

The property is a bit ran down

The room was too small and they gave us a room right next to the kitchen where noise begins at 7:30 a.m The bed is small and uncomfortable and the bathroom is old and moldy

The people who run the Pousada were great. They were friendly and helpful. We spent some time just relaxing and chatting with Roberto and Cesar. A wonderful family experience. Highly recommend.

I liked the breakfast. The service is nice and friendly, they clean rooms every day. The location is amazing, close to everything. The room was super simple and kinda old , however, it didn't bother us as the island itself has a lot to offer, and we would come to room just to sleep.

Maybe a bit of refurbishment might be cool, although it's okay the way it is
