The location is good but a 10-minute walk to the centre of Abraão. It can be challenging if you have big and heavy luggage.

Good facilities, comfortable. The swimming pool seemed fine although we did not use it. The room was good and the hot tub good to use The staff was kind and accommodating, we had a problem with the water temperature during out first night but the staffw as quick to solve it

The poussada was well located (7 minutes walk from the center) but in a quiet environement far from the noise. The staff was very helpfull. The room was clean and furnished as we needed. The breakfast was amazing with local fruits, home made cakes and all the regular food needed to start a hiking day. Tea time is a big plus that could bring a friendly moment between the guests! If you need to rest and feel like home during your stay in Abraao, this is the place to be.

The location is very peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very kind and helpful. They showed a lot of good will about our requests, and we really appreciated it. We also loved that it is located a bit outside of the center, in a quiet street, but still very closeby for everything. We hope to stay there again on our next visit

Having a 11am checkout would be a massive help given breakfast is 8-9.30 for sufficient time to pack!

The stay surpassed our expectations- the room was beautifully presented , the staff were incredible , the breakfast was amazing . Honestly can not fault it except for an early checkout time ! Would definitely stay here again.

There were some minor issues. Good to note the following: the hot tub in the room takes up a lot of space, which makes the room feel smaller than it actually is. Additionally, one night, a cockroach crawled out of the hot tub, so it might be wise to check the building's foundation for any potential problems. Another significant factor that affected our sleep was the backup generator. The hotel, like the rest of Abraao, experiences electricity outages. While the generator provides power, it is extremely noisy. At the beginning of our stay, it ran all night long, making it difficult to get rest. Bring earplugs! Lastly, the staff did not speak English and didn’t seem to make much effort to communicate through Google Translate. They were rather distant. During our stay, they canceled our reservation via Booking.com without contacting us. We believe it was an error (as we were not asked to leave), but we never received any explanation, which was quite strange.

The place offers a picture-perfect view that is absolutely stunning! The hammock in front of the room was a lovely addition. Breakfast was enjoyable, with plenty of cake options available; I particularly loved the lemon mousse cake! The afternoon tea was a great way to end the day before going out to dinner. The hotel is close to Abraoo center, a 5-minute walk to get to restaurants or the beach. The area is well-lit at night.

The pousada is closer to hill and the forest which gives it a vibe of tropical jungle which is exotic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were surprised with the romantic setup in the room. We loved the tea time in the afternoon (free). Lovely pousada !

Great location- walking distance to the beach. Lovely breakfast- with lots of fresh fruit. Comfortable beds. Small but sweet swimming pool- perfect for a post beach dip. They serve tea at 5.30pm- which is nice. Kind and friendly staff- they were so helpful when I got food poisoning (not from the hotel). We liked it so much that we ended up extending our stay there!

We had the superior room. Very nice hosts, the room was perfectly clean with cleaning service every day including fresh towels. Free bottle of prosecco and fresh water for free. In the afternoon there was interestingly tea time with cakes. Perfect and quiet location for exploring ilha grande, warmhearted location

The basic rooms were very close to the dining area and pool. The upscale (and upstairs) rooms have more privacy in that sense. Still very good value though!

Super friendly and non intrusive hosts, they helped us leave our stuff early before check-in and also later during check out. The island was without electricity, their property had a generator that enabled the place to have warm water and light etc despite the power cut. They also had a complimentary afternoon lunch for the guests (and breakfast, obviously). Also close to some bars that are more low-mid range in price.

The hosts were so pleasant and friendly 😊. They were on hand all day to help us with any query we had and even allowed us to use the pool the entire day of checkout whilst they also generously stored our bags. The breakfast was very tasty and the afternoon tea was a lovely touch also. Would highly recommend! Thank you for a great stay ☺️

Wonderful little place. The man and woman who run it are so kind and helpful - they are seemingly always working 24/7 to have things ready for you, whether it's breakfast in the morning, coffee/tea/snacks in the evening, or cleaning up all around. They always greet you with a smile and are eager to help you with whatever you need. The rooms are fairly basic but they are cozy, comfortable and clean. Good wifi, comfortable beds, warm showers. The inn has lush greenery all around and is situated in a quiet part of town, while just a few minutes walk to the main downtown and beach. We loved our stay and would be happy to return!
