Clean, quiet and staff

Very helpful staff , Gubi at reception is a Gem ! Helped us to feel at home and took care of us like our daughter. She helped to find lost cellphone in Uber , getting SIM card and showing the way to interesting sites..

Our room was clean and with street view. I would recommend to add two small side tables and lamps. There were no elevator to the upper floor, but with the help of their lovely staff, that was resolved 😀

I enjoyed the location, the facilities, the cleanliness and the staff was very attentive and helpful, especially Eduardo, who went out of his way to help us in a difficult situation.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, they can speak good English which is very important. The equipments are well maintained, bed is comfortable, with curtain and lamp. How water in bathroom and AC quiet in the evening. The nearby area is safe.

Would be nice if the top beds had curtains too (but even so the beds were high enough for me to have some privacy up there :D), with six people it gets a bit crowded if people don't put their luggage in the boxes beneath the beds

Staff was very nice and helpful, nice breakfast (toast, bread, jam, cheese, ham, cereal, juice, fruits, milk, cake), each bed has its own light, socket and little storage place, shared toilets and showers for all the dorms on one floor but seemed to be enough (I never had to wait), everything was clean, location is close to Copacabana and Ipanema Beach, there's an entrance to a favela close by but I never felt unsafe throughout my stay and still went out alone for late dinner or sunrise

I felt like we were in Thailand or somewhere outside of Brazil as the place is white, modern and boring. We were watched in our every action, reminded of our 11am checkout as though we were intruding by enjoying our morning coffee. The kitchen has no stove and you are allowed to only boil water if you use the stove so basically you cant cook. Im uncertain why it says you have a kitchen as you really just have a fridge.

The people working here are extremely kind and helpful. Its right in front of the metro...

Bathrooms could be cleaner, breakfast could include crumbled eggs which is a must in my diet.

Location is great! It’s close to a metro station and bicycle post, also walking distance to both Copacabana and Ipanema. Staff is frendly and installations are nice with lots of natural light.

Wasn’t a super social hostel. Bathroom was shared with the whole floor and therefore got dirty pretty quickly. Also the hangers in the showers were almost all broken so not really a possibility to hang your clothes and towels.

Very nice and clean hostel which is well cared for, nice breakfast and perfect, safe location. Shoutout to George, Harry and the whole reception team. They are a bunch of very lovely and helpful people :)

I have stayed at other hostels in Rio but this one is the best. Reception staff are amazing, Gabriella is very helpful, clean, comfortable, staff are amazing, the AC is good, you really cannot complain

Too much air conditioning. They automatically switch it on at night but it was raining and fresh temperature outside. I don't see the point of sleeping with long pyjamas and blankets! They have a kitchen but you can't cook anything but boil water. It's like having no kitchen at all so you can't cook.

Comfortable bed, nice breakfast included in the price, good location, staff spoke english.

I didn’t like sharing 6 people to a room and getting the top bunk. But if you’re looking for a cheap place during Carnaval, that’s what you get

There was no hot water in the shower and some of stuff did not speak proper english, but were very friendly.
