The breakfast was just basic, only fruits are changing every time. But still not that major.

The location and how clean it was. This is a hostel with a more relax vibe. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. I also like the fact that they have a bidet in the toilet. So happy!

The bathrooms could be cleaned more than once per day. I'm not blaming the cleaning lady, she did fine when she cleaned them, but I think they only clean them once per day, and they get used a lot.

The staff was nice. The location is great and the bed is comfy.

Breakfast from 7:30, so we could only eat it once during our 3-day stay - we had to leave before 7 AM on the other days.

Great hostel, right next to one of the metro entrances, friendly English-speaking staff, good breakfast. Walking distance from Copacabana and Ipanema, lots of shops and food nearby.

Location is really good that near subway just 50 m. Staffs are so helpful for carrying stuffs and give information of traveling. Room is clean and comfortable and breakfast is fine.

It's not particularly social hostel. If you are looking for a nice and quiet place, it's perfect. If you are after meeting people, it might not be the best option.

Nice and helpful staff. Perfect location. The private room was spacious and had everything I needed. Breakfast was good - loved having fresh fruits every morning.

Great location. Menro station is in 2-3 min from Hostel. There are some little shops in 5-10 min, where you can buy fruits, water and ets. Hostel is very nice!)

Good location, everything within walking distance. Very nice and friendly staff. The kitchen is small and you can only cook simple stuff with boiled water. I loved all the tips about Rio on the blackboard.

The location is great, we were near supermarkets, restaurants, ipanema beach, copacabana beach and arpoador stone, a nice place to watch the sunset. The hostel is lovely, very clean, and we booked a private suite so we were very comfortable. The bed was huge and we slept well. The shower has good water pressure, the sink not so much. Even tho the room was nice, it was a 3rd floor and there is no elevator so i wouldn’t recommend it so much for people with mobility issues, baggage bigger than a carry-on or elderly folks. The staff is SO friendly and kind, there is someone at the reception desk 24/7 to help you with anything. They also helped us get our carry on up the stairs. The kitchen is a bit small and you can’t cook much, you can only boil water. You can store some things in the fridge if you tag it and find a place, which is convenient.

We were looking for a well located, comfortable place to stay in Rio that could accommodate a family. We definitely found it with this hostel. A very reasonable price and located well for everything we wanted to do. Staff were always on hand and always helpful.

- Bunk shelf was flimsy and inclined, my stuff and bunkmate's stuff kept falling down - A/C is pretty loud (FYI) although not a problem for me because I had earplugs - Because it's near a beach, it feels like there's always sand/humidity on everything including the beds right up until the A/C has been turned on (around 9PM) for some time

- Location was perfect -> beach, metro, restaurants, cafes steps away and area felt pretty safe (FYI traffic is crazy around) - Amenable to morning beach swims - Showers are very modern and clean - Cleaning staff goes through the showers and bunk rooms every day - Lots of cool interesting people at the hostel and nearby bars

The bed furniture (curtains, lamps..) are not the best anymore and would deserve some renovation. 8-bed-dorm tiny.

Very helpful and friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere! Perfect location for all rio visitors who are not looking for the big party-hostels. Perfect location in Ipanema!
