It was really beautiful, set in a secluded part of Ilha Grande but it was still easy to get to the main town. It had its own area on the beach and the staff were really helpful. This is a great place to have a peaceful few days in Ilha Grande.

Incredible place in the middle of nature! this pousada is very well designed especially the main area and landscape around. The staff was very kind helping us discovering the island, especially Cami who took care of us everyday! We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a peaceful place, close to nature and the beach!

Nothing, it was wonderful.

The setting, beautifully landscaped and surrounded by nature. A true paradise. The private beach with facilities including kayak and paddle board. Bed is really comfortable! Staff were a pleasure to interact with, always willing to support with tours and other activities. They helped us organise a late night transfer which was a huge help after a long flight!

O Sitio is simply wonderful. The beauty of the lush garden leading you down to a wonderful little private beach with a couple of nearby restaurants, the friendly staff going above and beyond, the amazing owners —it’s all unmatched. It’s hard to capture how beautiful this boutique hotel is with photos, you’ll just have to go visit. We can’t wait to go back.

the fact that there’s no coffee in the room and they still charge for every Nespresso you get. plus the fact that the property can only be accessed by boat and the property charges you each time you use their boat to go to the main island, it should be complimentary given how expensive the rooms are.

I didn't like having to leave!

If you're looking for paradise, you've got to go to O Sitio. The location is already unique, in the middle of nature, directly on the beach, it's a haven of peace. Then the staff are incredible, and I'd like to thank them again for their kindness, because with them anything is possible! The breakfast is perfect, everything is fresh In short, I can't recommend this place highly enough, and all I want to do is go back.

As a gardener, I could not resist this special place, designed by a landscape designer, for my first stay in the Atlantic rainforest. The beautiful grounds give way to total nature in steps. It was quiet and comfortable, a true getaway from it all but easy to reach town in minutes by boat. The walk to Abraao is worth doing once, but make use of the convenient boat to reach the more impressive hiking paths on the island. We enjoyed listening to the frogs and birds—watch out for hummingbirds and bright blue butterflies. The breakfast and dinner was fantastic.

There is nothing that is bad about this property.

The whole place and beach is beautiful. Staff friendly, rooms cute. The beach bar and restaurant on the beach are great. The vibe of the place is relaxed and cool. Taxi boat to Abrao is easy.

The walking instructions to get to the little town weren't clear, the island paths aten't very well marked, so give yourself plenty of time.

The whipped us off the boat and helped us get our ridiculously large suitcases off and onto their shoulders to haul up the beach as we jumped into the sand. It was like arriving to Gilligan's Island. They made us feel at home.

No panels on the top floor of the communal areas meant we couldn't relax up but not an issue as the downstairs Salon was spacious and wonderful.

Nothing really. We were even stuck in Aabrao in the evening with lot of rain and they came and pick us up with the boat.

Breath taking property run like a family business. Room are really well furnished, super cozy and most importantly very clean and not humid. We have stayed in 2 places on the island and OSitio definitely has exceeded our expectations. There is a beach with umbrellas and sun beds with all beach equipment (incl. canoe, SUP). Breakfast and dinner are simply delicious. Especially dinner’s dishes are even better than many restaurants we tried.
