How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

No kettle. Had to get taxi to Vila Madalena bar area as too far to walk at night.
Great gym. Comfy bed with smart TV. Quick check in and check out. Cafe downstairs. Good food places for pastries nearby.

The room is quite small. I think possibly too small for 2 persons.
Excellent building with beautiful amenities, gardens, etc... The location is quite good with easy walking to the Metro, central Vila Madalena, and more. The apartment was small but stylish and efficient. All staff were very helpful.

Everything about this hotel is great. We love it. We always stay here when we come to Sao Paulo. Super comfortable bed, linens and Shower. Best value for money in the city.

There was no one to greet us or explain us properly what to do. Just the security person gave us our card keys. The pool was not clean. However, the apartments were great, they have absolutely everything you need for your stay.

Only check-in is a bit confusing. No clear directions on where the concierge is.
I had an emergency and booked last minute, they were super kind from the beggining through messaging, and allowed me to checkin before the normal time, given that my flight arrived at 8am, so Im so so thankful for that!! :) Once you arrive, it's a little bit confusing because the concierge needs to come out to greet you and give you the keys, but most of us cross the door and start walking without direction. Other than that, everything was perfect! Appt is very very modern and new, super clean, cozy, has everything you need and every gadget worked well. I took a bath and rested all day as was planned, no light come through the blackout so I slept like a baby. Will definitely come back, thank you ❤️

The building is made for apartment rentals so there is no proper reception or service areas
Rooms are very clean and spacious, beds are super comfortable. The pool area is really nice to spend the day and relax. There is a fridge so you can get drinks as well as a bbq if you want to make your own food. Gym is spacious and nice view

My wife needed a hairdryer but it’s shared and it wasn’t available.
Modern, bright, comfortable and clean apartment and facilities. Water filter installed in the room. Easy access with keycard.

There is a lot of noise around the hotel early in the morning..
The location, near Vila Madalena metro station is excellent. The rooms are good to cook a few basic meals while being able to go out in the neighborhood.

Amazing value for money. Best hotel in São Paulo. Great room with kitchen and beautiful lobby, comfortable bed, excellent shower and water pressure. Flexible check in. We always stay here, it has no equal.

A few basic kitchen items could be added such as cutting knife, coffee filter/machine, toaster, even a simple kitchen cloth.

The options for breakfast is very limited. The places to get groceries or breakfast are a bit far. They are around ten minutes walking up and down steep hills.
The apartment is in a safe and quiet area. Batman Cave is at a safe walking distance. The hotel itself is very clean. The appartments are spacious and have a kitchen in them. The kitchen has basic cooking utensils and cutlery and it has a large fridge. The bed was very comfortable and there is daily room service. The AC works perfectly and helps to keep the room cool. The bathroom is spacious and has a shower with good water pressure. The view from the room is amazing! There is also a rooftop pool. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
