This is a great place to stay at! The area Barra da Lagoa is nice and calm and doesn't feel overly touristy (at least in July). The hostel is located just a few minutes walk from the beach and the people working there are lovely! It's clean, safe and comfortable. My plan was to only stay two nights, but I ended up staying there 4 instead, and changed from a private room to a shared female dorm. I could easily have spent even more nights there, but sadly had to continue my trip. If I go to Floripa in the future, I will definitely book here again!

Kitchen is a bit small

The hostel is great! I stayed for 3 weeks and would happily stay longer. The staff (specifically Jordana) made my stay even better. She was so helpful with anything I needed and worked hard to keep the place in good standing. I worked online there with no issues. Close to the beach, restaurants, grocery store.

A Heart-warming Stay with Amazing People! This hostel is a gem for backpackers looking to connect with others. It has a fantastic social vibe, making it easy to meet people. During my stay, I unfortunately injured my leg, but the hosts and volunteers were incredibly supportive, helping with anything I couldn’t do on my own. A special shoutout to Daniela, a wonderful staff member who went above and beyond. She was so warm and kind, even carrying me all the way to the beach so I could enjoy the day! I loved everything and would definitely stay here again.

Loved it! The location and the place is beautiful, close to all the cool places but you can find peace as well. The hostel is great, with everything you need for your stay, and it has really cool vibes. Its also super clean. The staff is always willing to help with anything you need and are always smiling and happy to help. Everyone was super nice, but Viktor and Marce in particular were super kind and helpful.

It would be nice to have a mirror in the room and maybe the fee for washing the clothes is a bit expensive (40 Reais). Otherwise, all good!

One of the best hostels I stayed! All the volunteers are amazing and they make you really feel at home. I met very nice people and they always organize activities, both during the day and at night. The general vibe in the hostel is very nice, you always find someone to chat with in the kitchen but the hostel is also very quiet, especially at night. I stayed in the private room and it was very nice and clean. The shared bathrooms were also cleaned every day and the shower was warm. It was possible to easily cook and there was enough space in the fridge and it was clean. Location is nice to explore the island and it is close to the beach. There is a super cute cat that I will miss! I could leave my baggage at the hostel without problems since my bus was late. For sure, the people added a great value to my experience! Especially thanks to the great volunteers Carlos, Emy and Vicky!

Amazing environment and space for relaxing, working, and meeting other travelers. Very friendly volunteers and a lot of attention to detail on cleanliness, activities, and taking care of guests and in one of the best parts of the island, highly recommend :)
