My first impressions weren’t good - mostly because I checked in before the hostel had been cleaned for the morning, there were beer cans everywhere in the front and a used condom on the floor of my room 🙃 it does however get cleaned everyday, and is generally a chill place to stay. I had the 4 bed dorm to myself which was good.

I wish I could have used the bicycles there, but they told me those were broken. The taste of filtered water is not something that you can forget, if you boil it the rust taste will go away, or just buy water

For breakfast, you can always find coffee and biscuits. The team was awesome, I did enjoy the fact that everyone knew different levels of English which made me have interesting discussions with them.

The kitchen was clean and adequate, but could do with a little more infrastructure like more fridge and cupboard space. It would also be nice to have a common area that can be used without disturbing guests who are getting an early night.

The location is great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The round-the-clock concierge allowed us to have a flexible schedule and not worry about getting back before a certain time.

The lockers were a little small for putting backpack in and also didn't have lock itself you should have it by yourself or pay money.if you didn't take back the blankets you should pay money too.the beds didn't have curtains so you had less privacy.

The manager and one another of staff knew english fluently, they all helped me a lot.there was really clean and completely safe.the wifi was strong enough.I enjoyed being there.the location was very good , near to bus station,metro station and Paulista and liberdade, there were coffees and restaurants around too.you can reach every where you need, but pay attention to go to the station a little bit sooner because the street was a bit uphill and makes you walk slowlier😊

Very receptive staff, they help you with whatever you need. The location is awesome for both who enjoys nightlife or quiet places, because the street is very calm but also is near busy places such as Bela Vista, Vila Mariana as well as the Paraíso subway station to take you to the best places in the city.

There was a school group in the hostel, and nobody brought them under control. Even at 2:00 o'clock in the night they were slamming doors and yelling at each other. In the afternoons the staff turned on the music loudly in the bar, despite nobody else was there. When I asked them to turn down the music, they couldn't hear me, and always ask me to say it again (after they turned down the music)...ah, surprise, surprise, maybe it's too loud if you can't hear me. There was a sign saying there's a strict rule to turn off the TV at 23:30, but each night was an exception for someone to watch TV until late. That's in particular an issue, as the room didn't had windows, only openings in the wall. Hence, you could hear all noise coming from outside. Our room had an en suite bathroom, but people from other rooms didn't mind coming into the room (also at night) and using it (including one staff member). This is just great to get some rest. They only provide a very thin blanket, and it was quite chilly in Sao Paulo. If you need a thicker blanket, you pay extra. If you need to store your luggage for the rest of your departure day, you pay extra. You only get the sheets and blanket, you need to put it on when you arrive and off when you leave, basically you work for the owner.

The CCTV cameras around the property made me feel super secure during my stay. The staff were fabulous! In particular Alex, who attended to all of my needs and made sure I really enjoyed my stay.

Only one toilet downstairs that was often occupied. The common space didn't feel clean and it had a strong animal smell. The kitchen didn't have bowls or a kettle and it didn't feel comfortable to cook. The volunteers were very loud getting ready in the morning (they had an alarm at 6am and until 7:30am they were in and out of the room getting ready).

Location was good, close to the metro station. There is common space that you can use even before checking in and there is free luggage storage. The staff was friendly and spoke English.
