Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BrazilOn last day we noticed the hotel was busier. That morning we felt the shower temperature not holding up. Not sure if something to do with too many people using at same time.
Great value for money. Hotel is a bit older but rooms are renewed. Very clean and comfortable. Shower has strong pressure and perfect temperature. Easy check in and check out.

BelgiumThe WiFi isn't stable. Almost all common areas are under construction. The AC/heater isn't working in the room so it's always freezing at night.
The somewhat central location and the somewhat sufficient breakfast. The housekeeping services are outstanding. Our room is always comfortable and clean.

United KingdomThe hotel charged me more than the booking.com price and the lady couldn't explain why when I asked at check out (I had paid on check in without seeing the invoice). It's a small amount but it's bad form. Cleaning lady entered my room 2 hours before check out without knocking then had pretty much blocked the door with cleaning equipment when I left a few minutes later. The room had not been vacuumed and lots of dust/hair on the floor...

BrazilThe room was really underwhelming. The mattress was hard, there was only one pillow (not very good) per bed, there were outlets to charge the phones only near one bed (not the other). There was no complimentary water to be had or even a cup in the room. If you wanted to drink water you either had to put your mouth directly under the bathroom sink or buy an overpriced bottle of water from the vending machine. I also expected more from the breakfast. By 8:30 there was no fruit salad any longer. When I asked whether there would be more, they just said no.
The mail hall is gorgeous. You enter the Hotel and you are in awe.
