Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. BrazilWould have been good to have a table and chair for the balcony. The pool area was built after hotel, no toilet up there.. closest one down the stairs and past reception. Also, not many places to sit, needs a few more tables to go with chairs. Expensive drinks (for pool) but you can take your own up there. Dated TV Entertainment in rooms.. No Netflix etc..
The location was great, our view had a pretty good view of the pool and looked onto the beach, sea and public sports facilities. Our room also had a balcony. Breakfast was excellent.. great value added to our stay :D Clean room, hotel felt safe and secure.

United StatesHad to sleep using towels as blankets night one. They would not get us blankets. The coffee is atrocious and in Brazil it’s hard to find bad coffee. The staff was combative when asking for items like dry towels or batteries for the a/c control which still did not work in room 406.

CanadaThere were no towels in the whole hotel. They arrived about 30 minutes after check in time; however, my kitchen towels are in better shape than the hotel towels. They were stained, ripped, and absolutely worn out. The pillow was rotten and the linens were stained and dirty. The cleaning staff did not wear any shoes, and had holes in their uniforms. There were no intercoms in the rooms, and had to go back and forth to reception a few times. Met a lady at the beach a few days after, who was staying at the hotel and she was also quite disappointed. I did not feel safe to stay there as a woman travelling alone.

United StatesTo be honest, this is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It wasn’t clean, it smelled bad, horrible view, no extra towels, no face towels(we were hiven 2 bath towels and that’s it), no blankets, nothing in the fridge, broken lamps, water damage on the ceiling, sheets were ripped. Simply disgusting!
Location was good. Oceanfront and there were bars around the corner.

PortugalStaff is ok. The hotel itself is awful. In the room I only had the TV and air conditioning and that’s it! If you need to contact the front desk you’ll won’t find a phone there. The aspect of everything is old and rusty. The cap shower was so rusty and clogged I had to remove it to be able to have a decent shower. I reported it and they replaced it. The breakfast was the worst… I expected so much and was disappointed, being a Brazilian myself I know we have good food but you won’t find it here. Even my uber drivers said “nobody likes this hotel”. There’s more but I’m gonna stop it here.

United StatesThe mattress was worn out. Pillows were yellow, towels were shredded. Mold all over the bathroom with bugs crawling in it. Could not get other pillows and towels, found out later the girls at the front desk were too embarrassed to pass the torn up towels out. One girl at the front desk cried because she was so embarrassed working there. You could tell nobody has swept under the bed in years. This place needs to be shut down.
Stay away from this property, it was the filthiest hotel room I have ever seen.

GermanyThe bedroom and bathroom contained dirty, old, and broken furniture, and the sheets were full of stains. The curtains were also dirty, with holes and stains. Additionally, the luggage table was broken; when I placed my backpack on it, one of the legs became loose, causing the table to fall along with everything on it.

Our 4th floor room had a beautiful, ocean view. In fact, my favorite part of this hotel was the location, right off the beach with instant access to the bus lines right off Rua Paciencia (Patience Street). A short walk takes you to the town plaza for food options, or to Patience Beach, which is well worth it. The room was simple and clean, and what a bargain !
