The fact that the television in our room was difficult to get to work.

We had an ocean view room with a small balcony. It was wonderful to watch the ocean. The staff was incredible and went out of their way to help with anything that they could.

Location of the air con compressor was too close to the rooms making it unnecessarily noisy (the whole purpose of having a split system is not avoid the noise of the compressor).

Excellent facilities with couple of really nice pools. Breakfast had good quality and plenty of options.

Large hotel room, large shower with excellent hot water. Two buildings across the street from each other with pools in each building. Excellent breakfast buffet! Great views from pool areas. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Restaurant pool could be cleaner at times. No staff speaks English but we managed anyway. A four star hotel could maybe benefit from a gym or spa facility

Kristie is a great facility overviewing the Ponta Negra beach. It is clean and location is great. Pools have a nice view over the beach and are well equipped. Restaurant and breakfast are great. All of the waiters and waitresses were really helpful, friendly and attentive - they were on call throughout the day - breakfast/lunch/dinner and drinks by the pool.

My only criticism is that for all the food/drinks we purchased during our stay and had to pay at our checkout, there was a considerable tax added at the end which we didn't know about until that point.

The location is very beautiful and the hotel room is very modern, clean, spacious and comfortable. The pool areas of the hotel are very beautiful and with great views and the pool bars were great. The breakfast was also very good and there was also evening live music on Saturday which was very nice.

Cable signals did not have a good definition and were mostly in Portuguese.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Equipment was complete with microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer, stove and good air conditioner. Cleaning service was excellent and friendly.

The breakfast should be better, it's ok but not much variety and isn't up to the standard of everything else in the hotel. Cooking facilities in apt could be improved.

Very good hotel, in a great beachfront location. The main swimming pool is outstanding, our spacious apt was very comfortable and cleaned very well each day. Comfortable beds and great shower. Excellent wifi throughout the hotel. Good value for what you get. Would highly recommend

None of the staff spoke english and I feel like they don't really make an effort, even the instructions (facilities, breakfast etc) were not written in English. Reception should at least know the basic or have a tablet where you can use google translate or something available. The breakfast wasn't great, we ordered an omelet one day and after 20 minutes it wasn't there so we just left.

We had a great experience at Kristie Resort, our room was very spacious and clean. The bed was really comfortable, the aircon was good and internet was also at a good spead. The hotel is in front of the sea and the apartments just on the other side of the road. There are two swimming pools and one of them is very very big with a bar in the pool which was great. The housekeeper was doing an amazing job and was so kind to us. We ordered room service one night and our dinner was very good.

There is no phone in the room, so the communication with reception is made only by whatsapp. It’s just that internet connection was also quite bad so we were unable to contact/call. Another slight negative thing was that the room cleaning was getting to us around 14-15 pm, which was very late for us and we were already back from the beach. The picture of the pool from the hotel description has nothing to do with this hotel, they have a little pool, but it’s not the one in the picture.

We loved it was right across the beach and enjoyed the sea view room. The property is a great value for money and in a very good position.
