Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

ItalyThe hotel design is beautiful, it also has a fantastic location with beach service included (super Comfortable). We also booked a personal trainer session which was great and tailored to our need :). The pool and the terrace on the rooftop was just the cherry on (a already delicious) cake!!

United KingdomThe FB staff are lovely but poorly trained in customer service. Most of them try really hard but if you order food it takes ages to come. At breakfast, I asked for a caffe latte three times and, though the waitress smiled and nodded, it still didn’t come. I don’t think it was deliberate, just a language barrier. Staff in the rooftop are all stand around in a huddle near the bar. Unless you go in from the pool to fetch them, you don’t get served, and when you do it is very slow. There was only one exception. That part was very disappointing. I didn’t raise it because I felt it was endemic and not easily resolved.
We loved the location, decors, cleanliness, bathroom. Great front of house, security and housekeeping staff. Fabulous views. Across the street from a lovely beach and close to lots of restaurants and the Leblon shopping.

PortugalDinner - I think sometimes less is more. The dinner options were quite fancy but we were looking for something a little more simple as it was heavy raining outside!
The location was great. Staff were super friendly and were always willing to help. What was great is that you could book things to do at reception pretty easily. Breakfast was great - a lot of options for all diets and taster great.

United StatesHotel was under construction in the lobby - and very expensive during Carnaval. Sometimes there was push back on mild requests that I would normally be ok with, but not for what they charged.
Great location and design. Food and staff were excellent; however there were some things that did not add up to 5 stars.

10/10! Such an amazing beautiful hotel. Next level experience. JH is impeccably clean! Not one speck of dust or hair. Rooms, furniture, bedding, and toiletries were are tastefully chosen. Restaurant overlooks the ocean on the second floor. The details are everything! I got complimentary cookies every night delivered to my room in addition to filtered water. Location was amazing, located in Leblon just steps away from the beach. This will be my go to Hotel in Brazil. You will not be sorry!!!!

United KingdomBooking.Com should have told us that the facade of the hotel was undergoing total renovation. I only found out from the excellent front of house staff when I booked directly another night when we arrived very early in Rio to have access to our suite as soon as we arrived. The contractors were restricted with noisy works only up to six pm so it made siestas (necessary at our age) very difficult. Also the outside of the building was totally covered and you had to be careful when dressing that a contractor was not passing your window at the time!!!
It was a very funky hotel and the facilities were first class. All the staff were warm and friendly and could not do enough for us

The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated and the bathroom was huge. The rooftop area is really nice and I personally enjoyed the small swimming pool. The food was surprisingly good and the cocktails were great.

BrazilThe rooftop is great, but the pool could be a little bit bigger. It gets too crouded if more than 4 people are in.
The most comfortable bed I had ever slept. The view from the room is amazing, the drinks are awesome and food espectacular! Also they have beach service and bike available to use.
