Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

In fairness, the staff did resolve the issues I had but i would have thought that English/French/Italian are spoken in addition to Portuguese in a 5* hotel.

SwitzerlandThe bathroom needs renovation as well as the shower. There was a construction work just next to our room, so that was impossible to sleep in the morning. Additionally , after the checkout , we were informed that if we wanted to stay in the common areas of the hotel (our flight was late in the afternoon) we had to pay a fee. As the check in is at 15h and the check out at 11h, I think that showed a lack of consideration for the guests. it is common practice to allow guests to stay in the common areas of hotel in the checkout day
Breakfast is really good, the location is very good as well as the beach. the room was also nice.

United KingdomStaff were very abrupt and unhelpful, had to struggle with bags out of our taxi as the bellboys stood chatting. Checked in and we were pointed in the general direction of the room. Bearing in mind there are 4 blocks each with 7 floors, it took us a while to find the room. Shower was faulty, they repaired this, surround sound speakers in the room good idea but had so much feedback on them we couldn’t use them.
Pool was nice, bed was comfy, place was clean.

Belgium1-the rooms were old and very much used and the bed awful ( pictures attached) 2-too much kids screaming everywhere ( reception, restaurant, corridors…) and the management is allowing them to do it which is a disrespect for the other clients. No relaxation at all 3-windows not isolated and rooms very noisy .

CanadaI felt disrespected in this hotel.i ordered for room service and after the food was delivered .the employee -girl who delivered the food came back and entered my room without my permission and started checking the friedge for all the food we consumed.took picture of the inside of the fridge and all the kitchen and dinner appliances that are on each cupboards as if she wanted to make sure that we will not take any with us.she did not explain to me or to my brother what she was doing though my brother speaks portuguese and i dont.this is a very bad experience for me eversince i have never experience this in all the 5 star hotels i have been around the world.i believe that it is customary to wait for the guest to check out before doing that inspection or check.moreover this is a 5 star hotel with a 3 star atmosphere and zero star attitude of employee.so that is why my review is poor.i talk to the manager on duty and told her what happen.i insisted that the employee apologized.

CanadaThe location of the hotel, adjacent to the beach was great. The breakfast and other meal options were also very good. We don't speak portuguese so we were very happy to meet Remo during check-in who assisted us. Some of the other staff could also converse in english. Overall, this is very much a well-run large-ish family oriented resort.
