Beautiful building, incredible historical architecture and features. Charming garden, beautiful swimming pool and the hidden gem is the dining area. Very boutique, everything is tailored to your needs and every detail has been thought through.

I know it’s part of the charm, but a few things could be updated inside the rooms and bathrooms. It felt quite old, cracked/broken and dusty

- The service was top notch. Everyone was super attentive, friendly and helpful. I felt really cared for - The location couldn’t be better if you want to stay around Lagoa - The breakfast in the morning was amazing. Lots of choices, very flexible - The restaurant food was great as well, and they were very accommodating - Beautiful setting and beautiful hotel

One of the best hotel experience we ever had. Just absolutely impeccable and the most friendly service you can imagine. But also great rooms and a really good breakfast. You just feel like you have nothing to worry about. We are also absolutely in love with the area of Florianopolis the hotel is in. It feels very safe and the beach town vibe is just great. Just always carry an umbrella, the weather is unpredictable. But in our case that was good, 3 rainy days - according to the forecast - changed into very sunny days. We will absolutely come back!

Perhaps only the season we went at, it was very crowded and some times of the day lots of traffic; apparently we matched with the locals holidays, not hotel's fault, but it got worse due to the location

Our stay was magnificent; we knew it was a traditional hotel but it combined modernness and vintage views; the common areas were always clean and maintained; the staff was really helpful and nice. It was all about details they would leave us nice notes in each meal, coconut water in the room each day, and overall such a nice vibe. We loved it, we were a couple, I'm pregnant and it was my boyfriend's birthday and they gave her a cake it was so special. Breakfast was AMAZING! The pool area is very relaxed and the garden also very nice

The small detail that bothered me was a bell that was on the restaurant table to call the staff if necessary. We never used it, but I found it unnecessary and a little weird.

Amazing staff, very thoughtful and caring. Breakfast was so good, and the option of having it either in the room, garden, or restaurant was so sweet. Furthermore, the location is great, from walking distance to the Lagoa da Conceição with shops and restaurants. My favorite part was the room: very comfortable bed, good space, lighting, big bathroom. I went with my partner to celebrate our anniversary and I felt the hotel contributed to the romantic vibe.

Rooms are dated, not very well equipped, lights are poor, no windows in the room, no suitcase holder, NO SAFE in the room! Pool needed some fixing. Position not so nice

Staff was very nice, and Luisa a real star, great availability of the staff to help us with a convention we had, good food (either breakfast and dinner), and very nice waiter in the restaurant (do not remember her name)

location is not ideal (far from beaches and surrounded by noisy establishments), customer service was terrible: - they were not able to provide us with a mean of transportation or a contact to rent. Their best proposal was to walk 30 mins under the sun. NYE is apparently tricky for vehicle rentals in Florianopolis, but they could let clients know in advance or have some emergency contacts to bring in at least a bycicle - ⁠they utterly ignored our request of a spa treatment availability. Just did not reply to our message - ⁠they served us breakfast at 7.40 when we specifically asked to be served at 7.15 given we had a flight to take (which we almost missed). They did not even apologise - their payment system did not work and given the time rush, they had to send a payment link and chased daily again without apologising. Charged two bottles of water which should be complimentary in this kind of establishment

Small room with non functional tv…….again about the breakfast…… system didn’t work and we rarely got what we thought we had preordered……

Pleasant enough pool area…… room functional …..staff were helpful……. Nice breakfast if you got what you asked for

Very old and old smell in the backside rooms. There are not electrical sockets enough if you need to work. The pipes need to be dragged as water get stagnant in the bathrooms. Some lamps did not work, some facilities do not work well

If you are in the best rooms of the hotel it is fantastic experience.
