Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandThe facility smelled like gas the whole time we were there. The bed was really small. We had to keep renewing the key card everytime we left the hotel on the off chance it stopped working, this was the instruction given on arrival. The breakfast food did not look fresh, the Pão de Queijo was a rock, it was more like pau de queijo.
The workers were helpful and friendly.

United Kingdomdidn't like that there was no parking, I only find out this after I had made the reservation, the beds in the room are very old and torn, but the worst of all is that the air conditioning wasn't working, I complained twice and they didn't solve my problem and they didn't change my room, it was very hot and it was difficult to sleep. The bedroom window opens completely, the single bed was next to the window, as I had a 3 year old daughter, I had to sleep in the bed next to the window for safety and my daughter in the double bed with my wife.

BrazilThe staff is simply amazing at their job. The receptionists helped us around with information regarding tourist attractions. The hotel is close to the bus terminal and bus and "tube" (BRT) stops, which allowed us to go through the city and back without a hassle.
