Katita is a very good person and i'm very happy to have met her here in her beautiful hostel.

The location is right beside the bus and everything is close, i needed to leave my bag for the day because my bus was late and they allowed me to stay after check out.

Cold shower. Poor facilities. The reception should know that we hear everything you say in the kitchen from the bathroom, so when you talk behind our backs or compare one guest to the other, we hear it.

The host is really nice, kind lady, who will tell you about the city or recommend something and is willing to help. Everything was clean and cleaned regularly.

If you are not used to sleep with the fans on, remember to choose bed that is not in the wind.

Highly recommend! It's so much close to the terminal station, just one minute walking, easy reach to supermarket and restaurant. Clean. Big space both public area and room. I love the balcony. Katira is a such nice lady, I enjoy my stay here, and definitely would stay again if any chance back to Paraty.

Katia was a wonderful host. The hostel is a good one and I enjoyed it, but I can't give the max score for two reasons: it was very hot and there were mosquitos that I couldn't take a proper rest. I'll come next time but I'll bring lots of repellent and my own fan!

Good location close to the bus station and centro histórico!

Only the very basic facilities, no common area and only two washrooms for the entire hostel.

Katita runs a good hostel for backpackers. The mixed hostel I was in open to a wrap around balcony. It is located about a 5-minute walk to the old town. There is an excellent eatery below the hostel. The bus station is a 3 minutes away.

Katita Wass lovely host, the property was really wonderfully clean, the location was great (right near the bus station and a short walk to the old town). The kitchen was well equipped.

It’s on a busy street so it’s the quietest (bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper), there’s also not really much common space to hang out in, but the rooms are big.

Location is great, right next to the bus station. There’s plenty of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets around. The room was comfortable and clean.

Super close to the bus station. Katita is very nice and accommodating. There was air conditioning in the room - heads up though the air con is only in the female only dorm.

There's only two bathrooms so often had to wait to use it.

Great location by bus terminal. Super clean. Shared kitchen is well equipped. Room is spacious. Kati is nice and helpful. Very local atmosphere.

This isn’t a hostel catering only to foreign guests, it is more like a homestay where guests are mainly local tourists. So don’t expect to be able to communicate with everyone if you are an English speaker. For us, we LOVED this. We were the only English speaking guests but still felt very comfortable and welcome by Katita and her friends. We still made friends here and it was really great value for money (especially over the New Year period). We appreciated the effort everyone made with us. The Brazilian hospitality was as warm as ever!

Minor Recommendations: - the room is hot so the doors are open but it would be great if there were mosquito nets because I got eaten alive or air conditioning in the room - Another small table in the kitchen to make it easier to prep food on - a better area for guests to chill out in

The owner was so lovely and the location of the hostel was perfect, right next to the station!

The room is on quite a noisy street, with buses and motorcycles driving by throughout the night. There was also a pack of dogs that barked every night which really impacted my sleep. My fault for not having better ear plugs, but just a warning for others.

Property is well located close to the bus stop and restaurants. Everything worth doing in town is walking distance. Hostel is clean and the host is really friendly and helpful!
