We looooved being here! Great pleace, great people, good drinks! The location is perfect and the staff is speaking English - something we needed on the island. Even when we stayed at another hotel, we went back daily for a drink and just because we loved it.

Say each and everyone I should leave. Probably it would be great if next to my socket there could be a sort of shelf to leave my mobile phone plugged.

I had a warmly welcomed from the very beginning. Despite being 15 minutes by walk from the beach, it's located 100 meters from the bus stop and that's crucial. Staff was receptive and gentle, room was cozy (actually I found the pillow kind of uncomfortable but I was so exhausted I didnt even care about it), breakfast was fine (don't miss tapioca) and the environment really friendly. I'd highly recommend the so accessible beers at night.

The staff is the best asset of that hostel, i have never received a more warm welcoming than this one.. everybody makes you feel extremely accommodated, they provide with all information you need, there is cheap beer, nice parties and gatherings too! special shout out to Renata, Joao and Leticia.

The air conditioning and the bathroom wasn’t much clean. But it didn’t make us bag, because vibes was amazing.

Bathroom facilities were always clean but a bit old, with some showers and toilets not working super well.

The hostel is located in a great central area that made it easy to get everywhere, the staff were super helpful and friendly, and the hostel vibe was excellent!

I had an amazing stay at Casa Swell, felt part of the family as soon as I arrived. The room was very comfortable and spacious, the AC was appreciated. Information about tours or anything about the island was always provided. Can't wait to be back!

The tips regarding tours you can do on the island I felt were bot really the best. E.g. the 4WD island tour is sth you can easily do in your own by renting a bike for example. Regarding the discovery dive, there are agencies that have better prices and more included in the package than the ones Casa Swell proposes.

Nothing, Casa Swell is the best. Something to note, though, is the guests are mostly Portuguese speakers, so making friends in English is not super easy. This isn't Casa Swell's fault, though, Fernando de Noronha is just a more common destination for Brazilian tourists rather than foreigners.

Breakfast - customized ordering and includes choice of eggs, tapioca, cereal, toasts, and coffee Room - private room was SUPER comfy with a huge bed, great air conditioner and bathroom. Also every private room has it's own outdoor seating area with a hammock that's also private Staff - everyone was so nice and helpful

It was quite nosy in the evenings, we had to sleep with earplugs. Fernando in general is quite expensive and thus the price you pay for rooms is high thinking about the standard you get. But this has nothing to do with Casa Swell, that is a general observation on the island.

The staff was extremely nice and always offered to help us - be it transport or tours. Special thanks to Marcello who made us feel at home.

could see the beach, but the beach was easy to get to!

it was a hub for many people to come and hang out at the bar because they had cheap beers! super close to the bus stop and walking distance from the “downtown.” the breakfast was a great start to the day

Casa swell was a wonderful place to stay. Everyone who worked there was incredibly nice and helpful. Our rooms were comfortable and clean and had good AC. There were also many common areas where we had fun hanging out. The location is great - close to good restaurants and a few excellent beaches. We highly recommend Casa Swell!

Location - Great, just 1 minutes walk to bus station Breakfast - Simple but good breakfast. You may eat as much as you ordered for free. Staff - Super friendly and helpful. Excellent introduction for the whole hostel's facilities when check-in. Staff helps with tour booking whichever fits you. Atmosphere - Excellent vibes here! Super easy to make new friends. You won't be alone if you're solo traveller. Room - Super clean. They make up room everyday and give you clean new tower.

There was a staff member sleeping in the dormitory with me which was strange, and annoying when his alarm would go off very early in the morning. There was also a weird vibe when some unfriendly construction workers seemed to be staying there rather than other travellers, as well as some other men hanging around the hostel who were not friendly. Maybe it's because I was foreign. I didn't see the sofa area or the pool table or ping pong that are in the photos on this site. The room felt tired and in need of renovation for example the curtain holders on the bunk beds are very flimsy. It's an expensive island but I still expect more of a hostel for this price.

The reception and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful when I needed anything, and the breakfast was good too if a little repetitive over a week. Nice location in the middle of everything. Cool back deck and hangout area at the front, kitchen acceptable for cooking.

I took a private room and this room needs renovation in my opinion because it looks old. New paint on the wall and a new wardrobe would be good, as the price for this room is quite expensive for what you get.

The staff is very cool and friendly. The Hostel is well located and has its own little shop inside. Bed is very comfortable and the breakfast was nice.
