Great accommodation at an affordable price. It is located in a very central part of the city and the hot Carmen went above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to book!

The location was excellent, you could just walk to the main street, which is Avenida Paulista. The staff was so nice and warm and very attentive! I will definitely come back.

There is nothing that I did not like personally but it would be good to note for others that this is more of a guesthouse than hotel; there are animals in the premises so would not be suitable for allergies, and it is a shared bathroom. All were fine for me though!

The room was very spacious and comfortable and Carmen welcomed me into the space with a lot of warmth and kindness! I felt very at home, the neighbourhood felt safe and secure, and the location was fantastic. I had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again!

The rainy days in São Paulo

Extremely nice place, perfectly located two blocks from Paulista Avenue, close to two metro stations, on a very quiet street, and in which security is not a problem. Carmen is an extremely kind lady, who does everything to makes me confortable and that was the case, I felt very well at her place. I stayed seven nights at her place, and I returned on way back from Rio, for two more nights. The room is clean and very large with a beautiful terrace. Refrigerator, espresso machine, fan, TV, wardrobe, table and high chairs are at your disposal in the room. The private bathroom is on the landing, with hot water at will and good water pressure.

The shower in the bathroom was a bit small, as I am a big guy, and I was just able to squeeze into it. But all and all, it was a nice bathroom.

Carmen was a great hostess, who saw to everything I needed. The kitchen was well equipped for my needs. The location was perfect for me, as I was there for the sole purpose of learning Portuguese, and the school was located in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is one of the nicest neighborhoods in São Paulo, close to everything....shopping, grocery store, food markets, banks, public transportation, parks, restaurants, hotels, etc. They even close down the main street on Sundays, Avenida Paulista, so that pedestrians can walk in the street, where they can dance to the music of different musical groups playing music on the streets.

We had a room in the back with a view to a little Patio. Although it was so central the location was very quiet. The room had everything you needed and was convenient. There was no AC but it didnt heat up too much and there was a big fan that could be used - we did not even really need it although we were there during some hot days. It was just a few footsteps away from Ave Paulista, perfect for a first stay in the town. The host was very welcoming as well.

As a non-smoker I did find the smell of cigarettes a bit strong at times. Very thin walls, so if the other rooms are rented you will likely wake up whenever their occupants come or go. My door was difficult to latch. On a hot night the room was a bit uncomfortable: the fan was noisy, and the only other option was to open the window and let in mosquitos.

Good location close to Paulista Avenue and reasonable walking distance to metro, supermarket and laundromat. Lovely host! As advertised bedroom + shared bathroom only.

I had a private shower, but it was super cold, never increased the temperature and during my stay the average temperature outside was in the 50F. Also, to get in on the first times was super difficult, had to wait twice outside with no one around for several minutes. Moreover, there's a kitchen, with mini fridge, a coffee maker, but barely no cutlery, no towels nor mats anywhere (to dry silverware, face towel, etc), just one towel for the shower.

The location is good, close to a metro station, a mall and multiple mini-marts, huge plus in São Paulo. Also the sofa was pretty cute. The staff responds almost instantly on WhatsApp.
