Staying here is like staying in a friend's stylish Bahia home. Wonderful, friendly and attentive staff, astonishingly good breakfasts which changed every day and a feel- good atmosphere around the Pousada. I also appreciated that they helped me with my laundry at low cost

Recommended 200%. If you want to enjoy the warm treat of bahianos, stay in Casa Petunia. Staff is amazing and makes you feel at home, literally at home. Prepare yourself to have one of the most amazing breakfast of your life. Very safe, clean, next to the beach and to the lighthouse.

WiFi was really weak in the bedroom, and wouldn't connect to the TV so we couldn't make the most of the smart features such as Netflix.

Great location, lovely staff, and a breakfast fit for royalty! Such a huge spread of delicious food, kept us full all day. The room was nice.

This is the second time I have stayed at Casa Petunia. The rooms upstairs seem to be quieter than the downstairs ones. We stayed in a downstairs room, which was beautiful but a bit noisy in the morning.

Casa Petunia is wonderful. The staff are lovely and very helpful, the place and rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is exceptional. I particularly love the space where we have breakfast, a common room/dining room. This is the second time I stay at Casa Petunia and I will definitely stay there again.

Communication was a bit tough (only in portuguese). English only with the owners sister when she was around. But never mind - we could manage.

Casa Petunia is a very welcome & familiar place to stay and I was thankful that I could start my Brazil journey there. The house is well located in a small, quiet and safe street just a few minutes from Avenida Oceanica and from the Farol away. The room was large & with every comfort you need. Breakfast was outstanding, especially the delicious Tapioca! Thanks to the wonderful staff and the owner I could enjoy a very nice and safe stay in Salvador. A truly recommendable place!

Everything was great! Maybe a kettle in the room would have been even better.

We loved staying at Casa Petunia. It was in a great location near the beach and restaurants and a short taxi ride away from the centre. The place is lovely - furnished with art and furniture from when the owners lived in Bali, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. There is an amazing breakfast and the staff and owners are hugely welcoming and responsive - nothing is too much trouble.

Petunia husband could have been more helpful with helping me with the log in for my computer. But he didn't seem to be bothered when the staff told him I wanted help!! Also when I asked him about how the shower worked he came to help but seemed anoyed that I had asked him to help. Such a shame as his wife is amazing😊

The staff working there were so nice & always wanted to help. Petunia was a lovely lady with nice energy, I really liked her😊

Upon arrival, it’s a bit confusing where the property is. The property doesn’t have a sign and all the lights were off.

The property was very beautiful on the inside. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and they have a cute house cat that loves visitors.
