Our stay at the Lodge was excellent. Larisa and her family were great hosts, welcoming and always helpful. We had such great fun on the adventure tours into various aspects of the Amazon. Ericsson, our boat driver, had the eyes of an eagle and could spot wildlife from a great distance. If you get the chance, ask to take the 'short cuts'! We spent 4 days and 3 nights at the lodge. Definitely recommended and we'd go again at the first opportunity.

Incredible experience! Beautiful location and very nice, unpretentious yet beautiful and comfortable hotel. The staff and owner made us feel at home and as a part of the family. The food was delicious, hearty meals with a variety of fruits, vegetables, meat, local fish, and juice options. The highlights are the daily trips in the beautiful Amazonia; our guide, Alipio, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The walk in the jungle was spectacular, and we learned a lot, and we even got to learn some survival skills. During the boat trips, we got to see botos (amazonia dolphins), piranas, sloths, macacos, many birds, and jacares. A wonderful life experience; I100% recommend Arowana lodge.

We absolutely loved our stay at Arowana lodge. It’s clean , in a nice area where it’s nice and quiet. The staff are very polite and friendly. The food was amazing, fresh and local with good variety. The activities were really good , never a dull moment and we had so much fun, we did a lot in three days including hiking, kayaking, fishing, boat trips, swimming, etc . Our guide Anderson was absolutely incredible , he was funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and listened to what we wanted to do/see. We had the best time and would highly recommend this place.

Very welcoming experience at the Arowana lodge. Variety of day trip tours to take lead by their English speaking guide Anderson. Family style lodge with meals and tours shared which was a great opportunity to meet new people. The AC in the rooms was great to have a reset from the heat. The journey to the lodge was long but it was so smooth and completely taken care of by the drivers along the way.

The walls are paper thin, so you not only hear everything in the room next to you, but the rooms next to them. On one occasion, there wasn’t enough food when the number of guests increased

The lodge is amazing, with beautiful rooms, good food and relaxing common areas. Tours and transfers are very well organised, but the real gems are our guides Kemel and Matheus; they made us live one the best experiences of our lives! Highly recommended!

Everything at the Arowana lodge was top rate. The tours,staff and food was great. Anderson our guide was knowledgeable and fun to be around and organised trips twice daily. The trips were flexible and we saw everthing possible. Overall our stay was well organised and the journey to and from was no problem

The team cared well about their guests from pickup in Manaus to drop off. Spacious rooms with A/C and WIFI throughout the lodge. Delicious meals, more than you can eat. Anderson is an outstanding guide, leading our excursions from sunrise until late night, on water and land, explaining nature and culture of his homeland.

The setting is very beautiful and quiet right on the river and dolphins come and swim out in front of the lodge. The food is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable with air conditioning. There are very fun tours most mornings and afternoons included with your stay.

The hot water wan’t come out on first day, but they fixed right away in 2nd day. In the return trip, we had to wait for the boat under the Sun in last leg. Also the car/boat service when we came to the lodge was way better than the return trip, which the staff picked us from hotel helped move the luggages in each connection.

Our guide Lima is very knowledgeable. He is the guru in animal spotting. We saw sloths, monkeys, dolphins and tons of different species of birds, including toucans. The staff in the hotel is very polite and preparing delicious food.

It was a little confusing to coordinate the pick ups. Also there is basically no sound proof between units and one of the families have a very loud kid, but the staff are nice enough to get to switch me to a unit that’s further away from them.

It’s located deep into the jungle. The entire property is a floating house. Staff are very friendly. Food is local and super delicious. Learned so much about the animals and fauna. Learned a lot about local people as well.

I thought it would be a little bit more remote but it was still very cool.

Nice property, beautiful setting. Lots of wildlife around. The food was delicious. Good, friendly guides and lots of activities. AC worked great and they have wifi.

I would recommend offering board games or other self-guided activities to occupy time between tours.

The Amazon Arowana Lodge is located directly on the river offering the feeling of being immersed in the jungle; the 3 hour journey by van and boat is an adventure alone! The lodge is clean, food is fresh and delicious, and the daily tours are carefully planned and executed by a knowledgeable guide. Despite its location, the Wi-Fi was excellent. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions leading up to our stay.

Beautiful place to stay in the middle of nowhere, to explore a fragment of the amazons. Food was fresh and very good. Mr. Lima was an amazing guide, highly knowledgeable, trustworthy, with a great sense of humor.

It was a bit difficult to communicate with the other staff because they only spoke Portuguese, but our guide Thiago helped a lot with translating.

Everything about our stay at the Arowana Lodge was amazing! It is a beautiful location and the staff is most helpful. The best thing about our stay at the lodge was our guide Thiago! His love for the Amazon was telling. He had so much knowledge about the animals and plants there, and he could explain it so well.

It is an excellent lodge located in a very peaceful place of the river. The lodges’s team is super friendly and attentive to the guests. The food is great, we have been served with fresh fish and meat for every single lunch and dinner. Room are good, equipped with AC, which is an essential thing for the comfortable stay.
