The pool wasn’t as clean as we’d like. The outside laundry washer closet smelled funky. We noticed it when outside in the patio area. No access to additional bedding. My son likes to sleep with a heavier blanket. The beads only had sheets.

Most everything. The villa was beautiful, clean, and well prepared for guests. Having the excellent Wannadive facilities on premises is a big plus for SCUBA enthusiasts. The Ocean Club beach & restaurant is great.

The kitchen amenities were bare bones. You have to purchase your own condiments—salt, pepper, cooking oil etc. Although it is one of the few places where we rented to provide garbage bags! The grill is nice to have, but there were no coal or utensils usually needed for grilling. Garbage is picked up maybe once a week, so we had to watch it sitting out in the hot sun for a week, hoping no animals would get to it! Some of the staff are great, whereas others were a bit dismissive. The attached restaurant/ocean club allows direct access to the beach with a nice view, but remember to make a reservation, especially for dinner, since we could not even get take out on our first day there because we had no reservation! That was a bit of a turn off, since the place actually looked empty when we arrived, but we were told that since it was booked for the evening, the kitchen could not make food even for take out. Lastly, since the resort is near the airport, you do hear the planes flyby, which can be a bit loud, especially at night. Make sure you ask in advance if needing a late check out, at $20/hour rate(!).

Location was great! Very close to some of the best off shore snorkeling and diving places. Also easy access to grocery shopping in town, very convenient! The private pool was very much worth it, even if it was small. The bigger, shared pool seemed a bit too crowded for the entire resort to use. We enjoyed being able to relax in the private pool after a day in the ocean. The villa is clean and comfortable. Cleaned every four days with new towels. It was also nice to be able to get fresh pool towels daily from the office! The towels were also nice and thick, good sized. Washing machine and drying racks are great amenities to have as well so we can dry out our gears everyday!

Everything was great but if we have to say something (with the danger of sounding spoiled!): a bread toaster and blender would be nice, as well as basics such as salt & pepper.

We were in villa #25 for 2 weeks. We liked the spacious outline, the beautiful garden and of course the cabana was a great plus. Nice and relaxing garden furniture, your own place to rinse your dive gear, the washing machine…., fresh and modern interior, great beds. It was only a small walk to the beach club. Good system to get beach towels. Also the presence of Wannadive on the premises made us choose for Grand Windsock.

There was only A/C in the bedrooms, however the ceiling fans in the other living areas helped. Also the microwave/oven wasn't very useful.

The apartment was excellent and the beds were very comfortable. The area, including the pool and dive shop, were excellent. Everything was very clean and the staff were great.

The fan outside was making an annoying noise when the light was on, they said they'd come fix it but we asked several times and they didn't. Eventually we fixed it ourselves, but would have been better if they had.

The villa was very comfortable. The beds were good, especially the air-conditioning in the rooms really worked well and kept you cool during the night. The private swimming pool was very nice and the house had everything you needed.

The staff was very unfriendly, looked like interns that didn’t really want to be there. It does seem like the villas are used for parties and there is no control over the amount of people coming in, there was a car parking on our property every day.

Beds are on the stiffer side. Water pressure is a little low, which I understand is not totally in the hotel's control.

The staff was very sweet and helpful. The rooms were impeccably clean. The private pools are perfect! Location is amazing. We had an issue with the pump system in our villa - the staff was awesome and very quick to help resolve it.

What I did not like about the resort was how long it took for the staff to get us checked in and any other questions or requests we had took a long time also. We requested an early check in and were not granted one. However, there is an unlocked room to store your luggage.

I loved the facility and the location of our apartment. It is literally right down the road from the airport. We were out of the hustIe and bustle of Kralendijk. However, if you stay at the resort I would recommend renting a car or you will need to take taxis everywhere. Just know that the restaurant and beach is across the street from the resort also. I would recommend this resort for its location and cleanliness. It was extremely safe too!!! Our apartment was very clean and a nice size!!!

Just 3 improvement comments: Mosquito nets would be valuable at least in the living room so that you can open the windows after sunset without fear of insects bothering you. In a 3-bedroom apartment, bath time can be quite busy and the water intensity would be reduced. It would be a good improvement to ensure stability in the flow and temperature of the water. Increase pool cleaning and maintenance of pool furniture.

Perfect location with a rental car. Less than 5 minutes from the airport (but quiet); 10 minutes to reach the amazing Lac Bay, 10 minutes to the main restaurant area in Kralendijk and the water taxi to Klein Bonaire. Only 5 minutes to visit the Donkey Sanctuary (kids love it). And just across the street to the Ocean Club for a refreshing swim... bring your snorkeling gear! I hope to return to Bonaire and would easily choose this resort again.
