Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsI had a wonderful stay at Resort Blooz. The quality of the resort is excellent: from the well-maintained facilities to the clean and comfortable rooms. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, making it easy to enjoy meals without leaving the resort. What really stood out was the warm hospitality. Sjoerd and the others of the team were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making our experience feel truly welcoming. Highly recommended!

United StatesWe had trouble finding the right pods for the coffee machine. They were sold out at the Tweel grocery store.
Located across from Bachelors beach, it’s one of the few resorts that have public beach access. The room had everything needed, but pack your own toiletries as they do not provide them. They do provide kitchen essentials such as dish soap, salt and pepper, dishwasher soap pods. They also provided a pack and play for our infant. The Bloozz team was very accommodating and the staff were lovely.

United StatesNo stores within walking distance. Only public transportation is taxi. You need to rent a car or taxi to get the grocery store. Taxi will only wait limited time to do shopping. We rented a scooter for one day, but we should have rented a car. Roads not good for walking, and cars pass closely to scooters. We went to Grotto Lake, which was not good for a scooter ride. All desert, beautiful, but remote and limited internet access for GPS. No gas stations or stores along the way, and only a couple of houses Definitely needed a car.
The resort was very nice, clean. The staff super friendly. They greet all guests personally and go over everything you need. Complete kitchen. Across the street from gorgeous Bachelor's Beach! Snorkeling was awesome! Watch the sunset every night on the beach or at the resort bar! Taxi from airport to hotel only $10pp. Katja was awesome for taxi!!! PADI diving taught onsite.

United StatesThe only down side was that there is no breakfast at the restaurant on site.
The resort was exceptional. The room was great, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly and location was perfect. We used the dive center on site, Beyond the Corals, and IT was hands down the BEST dive center I’ve ever worked with. The staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable.

CanadaWe loved Bloozz, from the moment we were welcomed the first evening. The facilities are really great... lovely rooms and pool, great dive shop and really delicious food at the restaurant - but the staff were the absolute best bit. Friendly, warm, helpful ... such a great place, very conveniently situated opposite Bachelor's Beach and close to the airport.

United StatesWe really didn’t have any bad experiences with anyone at this property but the restaurant could do better with priority for guests staying at the property over walk in guests as one time we couldn’t eat onsite due to not making reservation which we would have been fine eating by the pool or scuba shop.
The overall value for this location was good. Majority of the staff were friendly and the accommodations were good but I’d recommend getting the ocean view rooms which we didn’t book this time. The onsite scuba diving was good and overall value was great.

United StatesThere is nothing we didn't enjoy.
From the beginning to end, the staff were professional, caring and organized. We were greeted kindly, offered a drink and snack as well as a small breakfast basket for our first morning (until we could go shopping). The hotel, wait staff, housekeeping and onsite diving staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We loved the simple but comprehensive rooms with a kitchen and really enjoyed our patio/balcony. The pool and location were fantastic!

United StatesThe road noise is a little loud at times but it is inescapable given the location of the roads and the ocean. It was not a problem. We live in an extremely quiet location in WI so take this with a grain of salt!
Didn't eat breakfast in the restaurant.

CanadaCheckout time is a bit earlier than most places.
The resort is small and feels very relaxed. Nothing is very far away. Staff at the reception desk and bar were very friendly and helpful. An absolutely beautiful beach lies just steps away, although it should be noted that it does require crossing the street and climbing down a set of stairs/rocks to reach it - but well worth it, if you are able. Non-divers like us could rent snorkel equipment for a very modest price at the dive shop - highly recommended, as we saw many beautiful fish without even going very far into the water. Nice pool that is open from 6 am to 10 pm. No problem getting lounge chairs around the pool. Rooms spacious and clean with great A/C. Well-equipped kitchen in the room. Large, comfortable balcony. Peaceful at night, very well-behaved guests. The restaurant food was fine, but not a highlight. Overall we were very pleased and felt we got good value for the price. We would definitely like to stay there again some day.

United StatesWonderful resort. Clean and spacious rooms with kitchen and refrigerator. The grounds are beautiful. The pool was lovely, and not crowded. The staff was friendly and professional. One thing that stood out for us was the Dive facility - Beyond the Coral right on the property. It was so convenient. Our trip to Bonaire was specifically for Scuba Diving. The dive instructors here were the best we have ever experienced! We wished that this was included in the description of the resort on Booking.Com. There were photos; but no mention in the description. We did not discover this gem until after we booked our room … to our pleasant surprise! However, it would have saved us time in researching Dive facilities had we known. They definitely deserve a “Shout out”. We don’t have anything really negative to say about this beautiful resort except one little suggestion: please hire a full time bartender! The wait staff at the restaurant are charged with making drinks … and they are really not at all knowledgeable about the skill of cocktail making. They were very kind in their attempts; but sadly were unable to make them very well (Only one waiter in the seven days we were there was able to make a cosmopolitan) Other than that tiny thing, we had a lovely stay and would HIGHLY recommend this resort AND dive center to anyone interested in vacationing in Bonaire, and would definitely stay there again.

CanadaWe had a few issues with our room. But it was quickly handled by the hotel management. It’s normal with a new construction.
On site 5 star dive shop. Excellent restaurant on site. Nice dive, snorkel and swim across the street (bachelor beach… not a beach but somewhat easy access). Located close to all south dive sites. Great pool. Great rooms.

United StatesI was not expecting the internal generator grid electrical circuit which operates at 220v instead of the standard 110v that the Bonaire grid generates. I burned up a fan before figuring this out. Maybe they add a note to the website to disclose this for benefit of the Americans like me not expecting this so they can bring power converters instead of simple adaptors.
