Attention to detail goes a long way. I stayed in the back without pool view for economy. The lights need to be replaced, dark entry. A green scrub pad and cleaning needed throughout. Coffee cups, water jug and mirrors were coated with dirt and stains upon arrival. Small things that can easily be improved. I recommend the spot, just hope the owners improve what is inexpensive to fix. Ps. Skip Macho Scooter rentals.

The pool area was excellent. Property is well maintained and has seating and drying racks outside. The airport transfer included, lovely. Towels and sheets, great. Location, just at the beginning of the right side of the airport. A few minutes walk to a couple of spots and 15 min walk to the core. Also, I used AB Car rental, they were awesome and priced right. VIPDiving next door...AMAZING company!

No complaints. Its worth the price :)

Check-in process went smooth, nice staff. It was really quiet and peaceful. You get what you pay for, it is not absurdly expensive compared to other accommodations on the island. Rooms are very clean, no bad oder. However the furnitures are just a bit worn out but again for the price you pay this is not a big problem. The pool is also well maintained.

It was a bit far from the town area. So with the hot weather it was harder to walk there than I anticipated. The mattress was very uncomfortable. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee.

Aqua Viva was a very fair value. The other available hotels in the capital were ridiculously expensive ($400 per night). I actually have a very high budget, but that was too much. The room was basic. It was very clean. The hotel is family run and the owners were very kind. The drivers who picked me up and took me to the airport were punctual and courteous. The pool area and garden were lovely. It was obvious that the owners really cared and were attentive to detail.

The place was quiet, calmy and the pool and jacuzzi was great. You can relax at the place and sleep without any noise. The place is very friendly and clean. And the staff and owners are very nice and patient. They are very kind. It was a nice weekend.

The hotel was awsome !! We loved it!! The location was right around the corner of everything. The pool was also verry clean and nicely maintained. The water temp was always good.. In general an awesome place to say. I highly recommend!! The rooms are verry nice.. Comfy bed , nice pillows.. it was all in all a verry nice place place.

The walk to downtown was a bit longer than I'd expected. I'd absolutely stay here again, but next time I'll probably rent a golf cart to get to and from restaurants, shops, and grocery stores.

Clean, convenient location to the airport, downtown, and numerous dive shops. Staff was extremely helpful and professional. Beautiful, well-maintained property.

Suite #2 has been smoked in (despite the no smoking signs). Room freshener doesn't address it. I would not stay in that suite again.

The common area, with a pool and chaise lounges, and beautiful palm trees, is lovely. The room is large and comfortable for 2 people and the kitchenette worked well for meals. The staff were friendly and helpful.

TV should get an upgrade to smart TV's

I Truly recommend Aqua Viva! The staff work with love for what they do,the room was as advertised! It is in a quiet and peacefull area. Its is truly a blessing for that price.
