Amazing views! The floor to ceiling windows let you see the beautiful lake at all times in the room. Beds were comfy, heater works well to keep you warm, and hot shower was nice after a long exploring the island from north to south. We also appreciate the hosts being communicative and helpful, despite our broken Spanish. We had breakfast served in our room which was a perfect start to the day, especially accompanied by the gorgeous sunrise views.

The room is very large with a lower level where there is a lounge area. The views are spectacular. It's the best side of the island as you get the morning sun so can sit out on the terrace where it gets really warm. Breakfast was served in the room and was delicious and plentiful. I particularly enjoyed the large flask of hot water which meant I could have endless cups of tea. The location is absolutely magical

Far from restaurants for dinner which are difficult to walk to with altitude and inclines, staff kept to themselves, mattresses were quite hard and shower was either scolding hot or freezing cold!

So close to isla del sol, beautiful views for sunrise & sunset, good breakfast and gave us wood to have an indoor fire to keep warm at night! Flexible with stay when needed to work a bit longer in the day was really appreciated

Quite a climb from the ferry, but well worth it.

Excellent location and beautiful view of water and Templo del Sol from room. Close to many restaurants on Isla Del Sol, but nicely outside of the main town area. Owner was very kind, allowing us to keep our luggage in the room after checkout as we wandered the island and waited for our afternoon ferry. Breakfast in the room was great!

It was a little out of the way if you are looking for easy boat access, but it added to the adventure. Recommend packing light for the climb up!

If you have breakfast/dinner/lunch at the place, just know that you need to ask for a time about 30 minutes before the time you actually want to eat! Other than that it was a lovely stay

Some reviews mention the location is quite isolated, while this is true, I think it allows for the serene atmosphere and beautiful views. We were ill prepared and did not bring snacks and/or food with us to prepare and we were too late to request dinner, however we found the walk to the nearby town quick and simple and found plenty of food options when we arrived.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. Incredibly peaceful and the couple who run the place are really lovely and very helpful. They ensured that we made our ferry back to the mainland on time and their assistance with carrying our bags to and from the port was very much appreciated, and definitely worth the small fee!

The location is situated at the middle part of the island & that makes it far away from the restaurants and yumani port. The nearest restau you can go is about 15 min of hiking. And after 4pm it can be pretty chilly already that you don't wanna go outside anymore. They don't serve dinner or any food or drinks so you better be prepared for the night. Bring extra water, bread or any instand food.

The lake view from the room was absoulutely stunning. Even if you don't go outside you can still see the lake and the mountain 24/7. You can also see the snow capped mountain during sunset which is more amazing. They provide heater and microwave too. The free breakfast was great but they don't give bottled water.

This was by far our best stay in Bolivia - the room is outstanding and the views are simply amazing. We got both breakfast and dinner in our room which was also very delicious. We do not understand the negative comments about the location. It is easy to reach from the closest harbour and every accomodation on the island involves some walking. You don’t get these views from being directly on the harbour

It is important that travellers realise when you get to the Isla de Sol there is no signs to the Lodge. The only way to reach the lodge is a steep very rocky all uphill track that can take 30 to 40 minutes depending where the boat drops you. With altitude this can be very challenging.

The shower was either very hot or cold so a bit hard to handle, but this is very minor in light of how amazing the place was overall.

Amazing stay in la Isla del Sol, the lodge is absolutely perfect, so spacious and cosy, and offers the best views over the lake, the Isla de la Luna and the surrounding mountains. It is also facing the sunrise for an unforgettable morning wake up. The hosts were very kind, and brought us our breakfast to enjoy on the terrace facing the lake. By far one of my best experience via Booking.

Incredible location with amazing views. Quite a hike to get there, but worth it! You can star gaze at night, wake up to the sunrise from your bed, and have a nice breakfast delivered to your room. The beds are super comfy and the host was lovely.

You have to hike up a steep hill for close to a mile to reach this lodge. Luckily we are fit and had light luggage. But we did not feel forewarned. You walk up on Inca trails which is cool but the steep climb combined with high altitude were challenging.

The view was unparalleled and exquisite. Totally worth the journey for the view.
