Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The TV may have been larger / smarter, although we did not spend any time watching it really. Also, parking is much worse in downtown Sofia than in recent years. This is not the fault of the apartment, and the hosts made some recommendations on parking lots nearby. I was aware of this challenge, but still it was a constant bother, figuring where to leave our car for a sensible price.
Our apartment was very close to the center, although at a slightly different location from the address originally provided. It was the 4th floor of an older building, featured an extremely spacious American-style kitchen / living room, the biggest bedroom I have ever seen, a bathroom with a shower cabin, and an entry area connecting the three. This separation worked for us very well during our 9 days in Sofia. The apartment was very light and sunny in the afternoon, thanks to the full-wall windows. It also had a balcony overlooking some downdown area. The kitchen was very well equipped, with a large fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, and even a microwave! We asked for a sofa due to my partner's back pains, and so the living room featured a comfy extendable L-shaped one. The bed was huge, possibly 180 by 200 cm or even larger, and occupied less than half of the bedroom! (I can't emphasize enough how cool this was!!) Even though the apartment was in an older building, there was an elevator and on week days, a front desk receptionist (that we did not have to interact with for anything.) Vitosha blvd, the main pedestrian street was 5 minutes away, so eating out or going for a drinks or even visiting the park at NDK was super quick and easy. We had countless small clothing and shoe shops all around (I never noticed them before, but my partner stopped at each and every one of them.. ;) ), and some small shops to buy basic supplies. The market hall, where we could do proper shopping (in a Kaufland) was about 15 minutes walk away. The apartment is 2 mins away from main tram lines, and 5 mins from the metro. Even though we did not meet the hosts (which was preferable, as we were never certain about our hours of arrival/departure), they were very responsive to all of our messages, also kind and helpful, and provided some basic hints for Sofia sightseeing and getting around too!

Dishes were not really cleaned, some breadcrumbs leftovers were on the plates when we arrived. Oven has not been cleaned for a long time probably.
We liked location, easy access, apartment spacity and quiteness.

The location of the apartment was on a completely different street than shown at the time of the reservation.

Initial address provided to us was incorrect, we were redirected to another location.....had to walk for 6 minutes with all our baggage. No elevator in the property - climbed to the 2nd floor with the baggage.

Good location only about 10mins from the main high street once you get your bearing. Big apartment with lots of space to spread out of your going to there for a while it’s a good choice. Staff helpful in responding if you need to ask a question or need something booked for you.

The parking place was a bad-surprise thing for us, but the owner really very helped to fit this.
