How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

the facilities need renewal, as they look worn-out. Overall design of the hotel is too kitch for my taste. Far from 5 stars.

the spa part, it would be desirable if the hotel staff would collect the water that accumulates around the jacuzzi and the pool and that the cleaners would clean it every day, so that I don't have to hang a reminder to clean it

Food at dinner could have been better and more varied. Room cleanliness could have been better.
Spa center and facilities were good. Great location in Kyustendil close to restaurants and coffee shops. Breakfast food was good.

The empoyees were very nice and kind, especially Izabela and Sofia from the restaurant - my gf told them I have a birthday so I got a compliment - two small cakes and a bottle of wine! It was really nice!

It's a bit old and it started to look like it. The mattresses need to be changed. Poor light inside the room.
A decent choice, helpful and smiling stuff, spa options. Decent open buffet for breakfast and dinner.

The pillows were uncomfortable. The remote and hotel key cards did not work initially but the issues were resolved after an engineer got called to fix them. Just minor inconveniences.
Great hotel that I hope to stay in again. Food was excellent, spa facilities- plentiful.

The dinner should be better. The heating in the room was switched off and we couldn't control it. In October the night temperatures are low.

Reasonable dinner (buffet) and breakfast included, therefore good cost benefit ratio. Room a bit dark, carpet a bit run down, but all in all OK

couldn't locate any sockets next to bed, except of one behind the nightstand (that had to be moved to use the socket), no place to put toiletries under the shower, no coat hanger at the door, very poor bathroom ventilation. murky water in some of the spa pools. poor communication.
very decent location, dinner food was tasty and portioned so that you can try everything without overeating, there were working tv and aircon in the room. bathroom was big. elevators up and running. bathrobes were big enough.

The room on the top flow was with ceiling windows only, I didn't like that. Also, the dinner can be improved, as this is 5-star hotel, so I expected more choices. Everything was delicious, just it would have be nice to have more options.
I liked the SPA, it has great pools (indoor and outdoor) and great jakuzzi. Also, Saunas were nice. I liked that the SPA is big enough, so although hotel was full it was not crowded in the SPA

Food was buffet breakfast and dinner. The disappointment was that breakfast is the same everyday and dinner isnt particularly varied although there are dishes to suit everyone.
Nice professionally run hotel. Staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble. Spar is great, indoor outdoor pools, Nice clean restaurant and garden area.

The type of the music at the swimming pool was totally inappropriate. It should have been more relaxed and quieter.
The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious with a good variety of foods. The swimming pool was also in very good condition.

Great hotel, large room with a sofa to sit in, comfortable bed. The breakfast was good, cold and hot. Indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, great outdoor swimming pool with a bar. Polite staff.
