Nothing really. When we visited it was really hot but we used a ventilator on the terrace and we had a machine for mosquitoes in the room. In the common area there is also a/c so it was very pleasant.

I loved the size of the room and especially the magical terrace with the beautiful greenery around. The bed was comfortable and there is a shared living room, kitchen and garden where you can enjoy your morning coffee or the breakfast if you order it in advance. The checkin was easy and the lady very responsive. As written in other reviews, it is good to not follow the GPS suggestion and just leave the car in the parking lot in the main square. From there walk until the shop selling icecream and take by walk the street on the left side going up. Straight forward, after 100m , you have the entrance.

Being in the heart of a museum village comes with a price : it is difficult to reach all the way to the house with a car (and anyways the parking space there is very limited). Do not follow the GPS telling you to turn left in the forest 1km from the village, the easiest path is to go in the center of the village and turn left after the restaurants. It is feasible with a normal car if you go slowly and have a correct ground clearance, but it is better to just leave the car in the center of the village or at the entrance, and walk to the house (about 100m either way).

The house is so nice and cosy, in the heart of the village, the garden is beautiful. Our room was really lovely with a lovely view from the wooden balcony that comes with the room. It is an old house but very comfortable and the owner is very very nice as well. Be careful, YOU CAN ONLY PAY BY CASH on arrival, and there is no ATM there, the closest is 30 minutes by car...

This was our second stay, and we again booked the big room with the balcony. It's so peaceful and wonderful there, and is an authentic Bojentsi house, inside as outside. There are a few restaurants around, but on monday they are all closed. So you can order from another guesthouse who delivers, and their food is delicious! (The owner leaves a menu in the living room)

The place is charming, preserving the charm of a traditional Balkan village. We liked our room, and loved the private balcony with the village and the mountain view. The host is very welcoming and responsive. We warmly recommend this hotel.

I recommend that the owners implement remote check-in similar to the procedure applied by similar small hotels in Veliko Tarnovo. It is difficult for a single person to be all the time on site, but half an hour wait on arrival can spoil the first impression, while a modern check-in procedure can help.

19th centrury-like house with modern facilities. A lot has been invested to make it look truly authentic yet without impact on the comfort of the guests (note no air-conditioning - but there was no need for that, despite the August heat outside: high quality wooden house).

unmaintained house. poorly insulated and you could hear absolutely everything, including the noises from the neighboring bathroom; the garbage from the kitchen was not evacuated. dirt collected in the entire kitchen area. bathroom with mold, non-functional fan in the bathroom and questionable cleaning. no rules for families with children
