How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Both bathrooms had issues. The shower was clogged and leaked. The bathtub leaked all over the bathroom. Even though we called and someone came to check, they did not resolve it, so taking a shower was very hard. Also the fridge leaked water. When we got the keys, it took the person 20 minutes to come to the desk and then it took another 10-15 mins to go through the procedure of handing over the keys and doing the paperwork.
The apartment was spacious and overall matched the photos. The pool was nice and good enough. The complex itself is great, very spacious and there is a shop to get some food within the complex. Parking spots were usually available and getting in and out of the complex was easy.

Both bathrooms need maintenance. No floor mats in the bathroom, water leaking on the floor, everything got wet in 5 minutes. No hair dryer. TV setup very complicated. No tissues. Low quality toiletries. Hard to reach the receptionist. No free parking
Somehow affordable. Almost all you need in the apartament was there.

kitchen was not well furnished. There were bugs in the apartment. Cleaning doesnt happen unless you request it..

The breakfast.
It was a quiet large space, safe for kids to walk/run, with pool and playground. For adults, it was nice and confortable, with restaurants and bars available. The apartment was great: very big, with two bathrooms and a spacious living room.

Little details on the cleanliness and the logistics of the villa could have been better.
The staff was really friendly, the neighbors too. The villa was right at the golf course and it had also direct access to a semi- private swimming pool.

From the beginning it was a shit-show, Booking.com said on its website the check-in was up to 9.30pm, my bus and taxi were very late and when I arrived at 7.45pm the office closes at 5.00pm!!! Only because a man standing nearby knew the manager's number, he called him, and I got a message how to open the keybox, and I got in. The wifi never worked despite the manager's attempts, the frig didn't work for the first day, there were no instructions on how to find the main switch for the hot water service. You recommended the Green House cafe for breakfasts, but that place closed last year. Apparently the Lighthouse apartment management company told Booking.com last year about the office closing time, and the cafe closure, so why the hell was I inconvenienced so badly??? This is my first problem with you guys, and it sure made me angry.
the place was clean, and the apartment manager, when I finally found him, was very enthusiastic. The golf course is great. As the cafe was closed I had to find food at the main hotel and at the golf course, both of which were excellent. And the supermarket saved my life too.

the mattress in the master bed was very uncomfortable. by day 2 the kitchen area, entryway and corridor were full of ants. i informed the host and they brough one tiny little trap. we acctually left a night earlier because it was a hassle to clean the kitchen each time i wanted to get something from the fridge just to come back after 10 min to find it full of ants again...

The appartment complex is near the Resort and golf course. The appartments are very big and comfortable. They are equipped with everything you need.

the location is in a large golf resort and has 2 accommodation possibilities: the Hotel, one of 4/5 stars I think and individual accommodations (apartments, villas, etc.). Very important: if you are not staying in the hotel, you do not have access to the hotel facilities (swimming pool, etc.) unless you pay extra if you are staying in apartments then you have access to a swimming pool which is very small and whose facilities can obviously be improved. You have breakfast at a bar with a few tables and one of the simplest menus I could see, the dishes being served sometimes ending much too quickly and no one being concerned about bringing what is needed I don't talk about coffee ......I don't want to remember about the facilities... the apartments were once new, now they are not anymore after so many years of use What bothered me, however, were the stairs of the blocks that did not look good at all and were dark
