Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaThe perceived rate for the pet was very high - 50 leva daily.
The rooms were very nice, the hotel is near the beach and has a beautiful roses garden in front. The price-quality ratio is satisfactory.

RomaniaIn my opinion it is not a 4 star hotel due to the way the room and bathroom furniture look. The cooked food is not very diverse.
It is quite close to the beach and the resort center.

RomaniaThe pool was not very clean.
Very good breakfast. Very nice room, quite big and with a nice balcony. Extremely friendly staff. We where able to check in upon our arrival (11 am). They helped us with beach towels. We asked for a room with sea view and an extra bed for our kid and we received it. The beach is very clean and the landscape is amazing. A lot of trees all around and very quiet surroundings.

United StatesThis is a 2 stars hotel that needs major repairs: toilets broken, AC not working properly, carpet filthy and old. Nasty smell coming from the fans above the restaurant kitchen. Probably the over and over reuse of the oil. The pool is slimy as it is probably cleaned on the surface and added chemicals into the water, but never sees any stairs and/or bottom cleaning. Watch those elevators if you want to be bruise free(they are closing pretty fast and hit you hard). I paid the price for a 4 stars hotel with an all inclusive stay. The food looked and tasted poorly. Bunch of hard to tell what type of meat patties and meatballs that looked rather made from recycled meals than from freshly minced meat where served each and every day. Only once beef was served and that disappeared in 15 minutes. Some chicken and dry pork where served, and overall food was really bad and cheap food. My daughter refused to eat anything but rice and boiled patatoe - that bad the food was. No options for people that drink decaffeinated coffee, nor substitute sugar, no honey served at breakfast…. Yes, I was asked by the very friendly staff if everything is ok, and it would have been, for a 2 star hotel half the price I paid, but unfortunately, what was supposed to be a family reunion 5 days vacation, ended up in whining from our kids and us tired of standing in line 20 minutes for a plate of food, as they crowded two hotels in one for lunch time. No tables two sit, so often I had to wait and eat on the terrace along with people smoking.

BulgariaOther than that, it was quite disappointing. The staff seemed completely unaware of what was going on, almost like they didn’t know where they were. There was a constant sewage smell coming from the bathroom, which spread into the entire room. The air conditioner was extremely old and noisy — it made it really hard to sleep. On top of that, the food and drinks were low quality and tasted stale. Definitely not what we were expecting.
The only good thing about the hotel we stayed at was its proximity to the sea.

United KingdomThe hotel appeared to have not undergone renovation for possibly up to 30 years, and the level of attentiveness from the staff did not meet the standard one would expect from a 4-star establishment. I would personally rate it at 2 stars. The quality of the food was subpar, and I found it difficult to justify the cost of 330 lev for a night's stay. The staff seemed ill-informed and the lack of variety at the snack bar, which only offered waffles in the afternoon, was a letdown beyond words. Unlike other all-inclusive resorts I have visited, the snack bar had limited offerings, lacking pizzas, salads, fries, and burgers. Regrettably, the overall experience left me feeling as though I had been taken advantage of. I have decided that I will not be returning to this hotel in the future. To make matters worse, both my son and I fell ill—likely due to a bug or food poisoning—resulting in two days spent confined to our beds. This unfortunate experience has solidified my decision to avoid this establishment in the future.
Just the location, nothing else . I will start now with the negatives.

AustraliaI believe Laguna Garden has to improve variety of food they offer in all inclusive package . I stayed for 7 days and there were approx 10 different dishes, for lunch and dinner. Compared to other resorts around the world it is quite behind. For example Los Cabos - there were more 300 dishes to choose from.
Laguna Garden is located in the heart of Albena, in close proximity to the beach. In the last 30 years Albena has transformed in a beautiful resort. It has forest just behind last building , has lots of trees and parks inside. Temperature is always within tolerable comfort zone. Resort is not overbuild as the rest of the black resorts and it provides best opportunities for a lovely holiday.
