How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Main door at the front locked/unlocked from the inside with a key. Should probably change that to a dead lock for safety in case of a fire.
Loved it. Lovely hosts, central location about 10mins walk from Old Nessebar. 5mins walk into the main town with small supermarkets, lots of restaurants and buses available to Sunny Beach etc. Heating and aircon in the room, very clean, quiet, hot showers. Would definitely stay again. Good value.

Good location close to the old town and grocery stores, comfortable room and bed, very quiet neighbourhood, and the woman who greeted us was super lovely! Highly recommend!

The hosts here were really wonderful. When the people were noisy in the next room, they moved them out. They couldn't do enough to help and also spoke English which was a lovely bonus. The room was lovely, good location, very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

The owner was incredibly nice, flexible and helped us with everything. His sister as well. The room was as on the photos, very clean. The building is also nice and quiet. Very close to the beach and shops, restaurants, really amazing location. If we are ever going back to Nessebar, definitely will chose this place again.

Nothing not to like. Although if there was a little brush in the room I could have swept the little bit of sand we accidentally brought in.
We have stayed here 3 times now and would highly recommend it, it is very clean and comfortable shower always hot nice clean towels and sheets. Room 41 was especially nice. The location is excellent not far from beach and plenty of excellent restaurants nearby.

Actual cups or glasses would have been nice, instead of paper cups. Also, there was no hairdryer, which wasn't a big deal, but still it's preferable to have one.
The bed was very comfortable and the host was kind and helpful.

the only thing is that the curtains leave the light passing, so in the morning you weak up as soon as the sun is coming. The room is a bit little for 2 people.
The kindness of the owner and his family, that makes you feel at home. The communication was very easy, the apartment is located in a strategic place to explore Nesbar but also to park if you have a car. The room was very clean, and new.

The bathroom has no moop, I had nothing to mop the tile floor after taking a shower.
The room was clean and cozy, the staff was very nice.

Host was very friendly and welcoming. Lovely, clean, bright, comfortable bedroom. Clean bathroom; smelled fresh. Clean towels, bedding and bath mats. Shampoo and soap provided. Fridge, kettle and hairdryer provided. Small balcony with seats and clothes dryer. Excellent air-conditioning. Location good for old town, beach and bus stops.

Friendly owners, clean and comfortable. Near to cafes, bakeries, restaurants and a supermarket. 15 minutes walk to old Nessebar and beaches. I enjoyed my stay here.

Fantastic stay in Nesebar, thanks to Elena and Nick's fantastic apartment hotel! The rooms are spotlessly clean, big, bright and airy, with lots of helpful touches: coffee and tea, kettle microwave, utensils, toiletries, great shower in the en suite, and a really useful little drying rack on the balcony for beach towels etc. It felt like a home away from home! Nearby are useful shops, pedestrianised street that comes alive in the evening, and plenty of takeaways. You can walk to the old town in 20 mins and the public beach in 10. Absolutely amazing place!! Nick also speaks perfect English which is a great help.

Great location to visit Old Town Nessebar, and it is OK for Sunny Beach (50 min walk to centre). Clean room, friendly staff and a balcony for most rooms (?). Highly recommend.

The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner but it was still ok to use.
The location is great, everything is nearby - beaches, old town, exchange office, bank, shops, restaurants... The owners are really nice and kind. It is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing vacation.
