This place is one of a kind, an incredibly well maintained and restored old building, keeping the old and offering an amazing experience overall. Situation in the very heart of Veliko, at a walk away from all interesting touristic places. Simona, who helped us with the accommodation, is an incredible person and puts in a lot of her heart in this place, and this is something you feel right from the moment you start talking to her. We were arriving late and asked her about a restaurant where we can eat and she recommended us the place next across the street with great food and amazing landscape to the city. Because I was afraid we might arrive after the restaurant closing time, Simona offered to let us some sandwiches into the fridge. I must say, this was one of the loveliest from the many gestures she made for us. We didn't feel we stayed in a hotel, but rather at a friend's house. This is how welcomed she made us feel. I would definitely come back here in Veliko at Diabora and will be happy to see again Simona and her colleagues who all made us feel welcomed and like at home. Thank you for your amazing warm welcoming!

Great location and room. All the people we interacted with were extremely kind and helpful. Good breakfast with excellent options. Also loved the tour bellow the hotel of the Roman ruins. Will definitely stay there again when we return to Plovdiv!

The hotel is specially decorated, in a rustic style, as if you are entering a fairy tale. Central location, well-chosen breakfast. Friendly staff. It does not have parking, but you can park for free nearby.

Parking spot is very hard to find mid day over the weekend, but otherwise good location as a starting point for exploring on foot. We liked our room (#12) but there's a step which can be very dangerous when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Overall lovely staff, good breakfast and pleasant stay.

The staff was very kind and helpful (they suggested where to park) the entire hotel was very beautiful. The room and common spaces were fresh and clean. Breakfast was served individually and it was more than ok.. highly recommended!!

Be aware that several rooms have only internal windows. Mine had some odd design features, eg, glass door (frosted) so you can't make the room dark at night.

Very helpful staff, eg, paid for my parking, told me loads of good places to go & where to park there for free, gave me milk for afternoon tea. Nice breakfast. Beautiful old building.

Extremely nice ambiente and very friendly and careful (female) host. Many lovely details concerning the furniture and the inner architecture of the house. Done with good taste and good care for cosy feeling. Excellent breakfast. The host did prudent support to our wishes e.g. for dealing with the parking by sms. The house is in the center of the town, all the sightseeing can be done by feet. We were very positively amazed during our very nice stay.

I understand why the rooms are as they are.The outline of the rooms is quite clever. The rooms have huge windows to the corridor. The parking was a bit of a trouble but that was our fault as we didn't read mails from the establishment.

The ambient was magnificent. A lot of love was put in the restavration and decoration of it. The locaton is great. Everything works.as it should. The orange juice for breakfast was as one would eat fresh oranges. Thanks for the great experience

There is a window above the bathroom door in our room that illuminates the whole room when someone is in the bathroom at night. Even worse, the bathroom light runs on a sensor, so there’s no way to use it at night without lighting up the whole room. The walls that face the hallway are thin and you can hear other guests walking around.

We arrived late in the evening and they communicate well and had everything ready. It’s as immaculate as the photos suggest - they obviously put a lot of thought into the design, furnishings, and artwork. The breakfast is good and the hosts speak excellent English and seem to enjoy working there.

The bathroom lights that were motion activated 😅 The double bed was actually twin beds put together but the bed frame did not really allow for this setup.

There was nothing I didn't like. I would prefer to have a balcony, but the smoking area was just in front of our room, so the lack of a balcony was not an issue.
