The big swimming pool was clean on the surface but had dirt piling up on the bottom. Some staff members were having personal beef they didn't hide from the guests. One day during dinner beer wasn't cold. In one room the wc deposit wasn't flushing well and they came to check it but didn't care much, so it remained broken, and in the second room, the AC indoor leaked down the wall and the floor. They also didn't seem to care much.

Gorgeous gardens, buildings and surroundings. 5mins walk from the center, super convenient parking lots. Good buffet. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Oh the spa...! The spa is great! So many different baths, bubbly ponds, jacuzzi... The 2 apartments had 2 high quality, smart mitshubushi AC units each with sensors. We didn't come with small kids but they would have had a blast. There's a big garden where kids were playing after diner.

To use fitness and kids centre, you have to pay extra. Actually, they were both closed during our stay. It's not a big deal, but it's still annoying.

Unfortunately the door was kinda broken in our living room and my kid got stuck at some point in there. The whole hotel is saving money wherever they can - there are sensors in the rooms not to turn on the AC, god forbid, to lose money for the hotel. So the first night we didnt know and we were sitting there without AC, because the window in the bathroom was open. The food was also enough for not being hungry, but it was mainly bought from the local market it seems and it was scarce, especially during the week, as there were not so many people. it seems as though the hotel was saving money wherever they could. Also, soft drinks are additional pay during dinner, which we didnt know the first night. It is not OK not to let your guests know in advance before they order that it is with an additional payment.

The new spa area was good, the whole hotel was beautiful and we really enjoyed the view. The water was good and i liked the fact that the water outside was also hot, something like 30 degrees, but i was really looking for a hot spring outside that was 40-45 degrees or more, but it wasn't like in the ad on the picture during the winter...i guess there is no such place in BG. For my brother the water was fine. The ladies in the old spa were very nice and the massage guy was nice.

The food was less than average and inconsistent. The bread had mold, and some of the fruits were unfresh. The overall feeling was that the kitchen was reusing the food from one meal to another, and the food was not fresh. This is petty since the hotel has great potential.

The dinner and breakfast buffet offer many options for all sorts of diets, but I feel like they were aiming for quantity over quality. Still, it was included in the price for the night so it was okay.

Really beautiful and peaceful place with great facilities, even though sadly the outdoor pool was not open yet. Super friendly and helpful staff. Even if you are only spending a single night, I recommend everyone to get the classic massage - absolutely worth it!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and warm. The spa was good, we especially enjoyed the thermal pond outside, although it could be hotter ideally (the water temperature is about 34 C degrees).

The complex wasn’t quite the mountainous location we expected with a street next to our room that was at times noisy with dogs barking and power tools. We had some noisy guests staying above us. On our first spa visit the staff member was nowhere to be seen for over an hour. The outside mineral pools were a bit colder than we expected but sone whisky helped enjoy them on the last night.

The staff were AMAZING! Our room was modern and comfortable. The spa was super clean and well kept. The traditional food on offer was super tasty! We had the spa to ourselves.

The sauna in one of the spa zones didn't work. The pools outside were very dirty from the trees above and the staff rarely cleaned them. We had to request it ourselves at a certain point, as there were bugs and leaves everywhere in the water. On a separate note, there wasn't enough capacity as the outdoor pools aren't that large. The food is not good and that's an inconvenience because you need to go out of the complex to grab a bite.

The surroundings of the place are magnificent, you feel like you are deep in the woods. The hot pool was nice, so was the spa zone. The Complex architecture is amazing, you feel like you are staying in an old traditional house which gives you a cozy atmosphere.

For the price, we would have expected a much better restaurant and overall quality of the rooms, staff, etcetera. We had just come for the Hyatt Regency hotel in Pravet (which is also a 4-star hotel) but is in a completely different league. We really had to adjust our expectations, and we have actually skipped the included dinner buffet multiple times to eat in the village, to get better quality food and atmosphere. In hindsight; we would have been better off renting an apartment for a fraction of the price and going to village for food and spa experiences.

The location is great, and the building are nice and in good condition, though a bit dated. The garden is beautiful and well-maintained as well as the pools.

We really didn’t understand how this can be a 4* hotel. The rooms are not properly maintained, problems in the bathroom, smell, just a full refurbishment is needed! The personnel is nice but struggling to address the numerous issues from guests and just drive you around the bend. Moreover, people reserve sunbeds with bananas from breakfast - what a ridiculous behaviour, together with ill-behaved kids jumping in the pool all day long. There is a lot to be desired from the guests as well but that’s surely not hotel’s problem. Food and its serving is far from what it has to be in a 4* hotel. Much better places in Devin to have a dinner. In other words, find a better place for that price if you want to have a relaxing holiday in that amazing region of Bulgaria.

Lots of stairs. Wish there were more ramps for strollers. There was a slide, a swing and a small house for little kids. Would be nice to add one more thing on the kids playground. The pull out bed for one of the kids wasn't comfortable but the crib was great.

Great location and facilities, food was very good and the staff was friendly. The pools were clean. There were a lot of kids and there were toys and a playground for them. We had great massages.

The room doors in apartment 202 are not closing properly- hopefully can be fixed, as it was not very comfortable not being able to close them, or if we succeed to close them, then it was really difficult to open them.

Staff of the reception messed up with my reservation but they upgraded me to apartment. Food in the restaurant was very basic and I couldn't taste any local food, also the big hot tub outside was in renovation and that was nowhere mentioned prior arrival. Too expensive for what been offered.

The furniture and the design overall is very outdated and even neglected. The smell in the bathroom was bad. The coffee in the breakfast was really bad and if you want to have drinkable coffee you need to order it from the bar.

The views from each point in the hotel are breathtaking, the spa and pools are realy very nice. A lot of reviews talked about poor dinner but for us the food was ok. We’re family of 6 persons- so we rent the house in the hotel. The rooms in the house were pretty big and there are 3 bathrooms which is pretty comfortable
