In the hotel description, it's not clear enough that there is a shared kitchen. We almost ruled out the place because of this misunderstanding. It is recommended to improve this and add to every website and application that there is indeed a kitchen and that it is excellent. Additionally, two small notes: The mattress is soft and uncomfortable. There was a lack of blankets.

The shower had no curtain or divider, so we had to be careful not to get the whole bathroom wet.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The house is beautifully decorated and well maintained, with lovely accommodations and a wonderful garden. Guests can also use a fully equipped shared kitchen, which made the stay even more convenient and enjoyable.

Stefan, the owner, was nothing short of amazing! He helped us out a lot through our stay and was instrumental in making this a happy trip. The facilities are super nice. There is a restaurant and a small convenience market/shop within 5 mintes walking. Center of town is about 15 minutes walking. I would definitely stay over again!!!

The location is great! Property is very nice. It has the Bulgarian charm of the old times. Very nice garden also arranged with items from the old times. The host was very helpful and gave us valuable information for the hiking. It turned out that he has youtube channel called @shturidrenki where he speaks about the region!

The beds were a bit on the soft side, but not uncomfortable. It didn’t detract from the overall experience. Also if you rent the apartment on the second floor (which we did) the door to the apartment doesn't lock, but only the individual rooms in it (2 separate rooms). For us it wasn't really a problem, but I can see how this can bother some people.

This a lovely restored house in an old late 19 century Bulgarian ("Vazrozhdenski") style. The rooms are nicely furnished in a corresponding style creating a cohesive and authentic atmosphere. The garden was absolutely lovely with tables put outside under a grapevine canopy made shade where you are more than welcome to sit, eat and talk. You can see the owner really takes care of every little detail around the house and the garden. The host is very welcoming and polite. We even found out we have a common hobby (photography) over which we could talk a lot. Overall, it was a great experience and the only thing I regret is staying there for only 1 night.

The bathroom is a little small and doesn't have a curtain separating the shower from the rest of it so the floor gets wet. The good news is that it dried fairly quickly.

The house and the garden are amazing. Our room had direct access to the garden and we could use the common kitchen which was fully equipped. The host met us for check in although we arrived fairly late. The place is very comfortable for exploring the area and for hiking to Botev Peak or Ray Hut, or Ray waterfall. It's easily accessible by car and you can park around the house. The is a supermarket and a restaurant with great prices really close to the property. The bed was really comfortable. We asked for a couple of blankets cause in the night it gets a little colder in the mountain and the host gave us some immediately. A great place to stay for a really good price. We would go back for sure!

I don’t think there is anything that I could suggest, this place, the town, the host were all great for us

We arrived here after 3 days hiking through the mountains and it could not have been more perfect for what we needed. Clean, quiet, comfortable, an excellent host and superb facilities. We had the whole place to ourselves and used our time to recover from a long hike. I don’t think I could fault this place and would definitely stay here again if we are ever in Kalofer once more. This was our best accommodation in all of our time in Bulgaria and even though we only had 1 night here it was perfect for us, we would have happily stayed longer if our plans allowed it

It was very cold in the room during November. The heating took time and needed to be switched on before the arrivalers. In the bathroom also was so cold.

The lock of the room door was extremely hard to lock and unlock, the tiles in the bathroom were extremely slippery when wet so that makes bathing a little bit of a challenge. There is no big light in the middle of the room but instead there were 4-5 small lamps on the walls that don’t light up the room properly and you have to climb the couch and go through all of them to turn them on one by one and it still didn’t make the room bright enough for me which was annoying to me (I like well lit rooms and those bulbs in the room were weak). Location is kinda close to the centre but the road that the navigation got us through was horrible. The main road which we found later was fine. There were 2 stray dogs around the outside of the house (not the property’s problem but still). There was no AC in our room but there is heating (we had to ask the owner to turn it on) and it was warm in the room no problems. The fridge was also lit up but not turned on,so make sure to turn it on if you want to use it.

The place was nice and clean,the staff was responsive to our needs and it was quiet so you can drink your coffee in the morning in peace on the coffee tables that the rooms have in front of them.
