Truly historic- the revolutionary hero, Levski, used to visit and hide here. Ideal location, only doors from the Serafina house. Nice staff, easy parking, good air con.

Not that I didn’t like or that it could be changed but the steps to our room had a very low ceiling which is something some guests might need to be aware of.

This is a historic hotel on a historic street. One of the revolutionaries of the fight for Bulgarian independence stayed here. So it is an old home. Which to me is part of the charm. Old wood floors. Traditional low bed. AMAZING VIEW. Wonderful location. Staff was just above and beyond.

Lovely place, very cozy. Old building, very well maintained. We had a nice room with view over the city, fabulous! Everything was clean. There are few parking spaces in front. Lovely kitchen in communal area well equipped. Very close to centre and restaurants. We loved staying here.

Charming and very confortable room in the heart of the most pintoresque street of Veliko Tarnovo. Location is great, as you can go to City center or Tsavarets fortress while enjoying a great view of the river and the hills. There are plenty of restaurants/bars near, in the parallel street as well as walking a few minutes in the same street while enjoying the view. Definitely awesome

Our stay at the apartment in HiStory Inn was an absolute delight! The place is beautifully decorated in a charming, vintage style that takes you back in time, yet offers all the modern comfort you need. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The location is perfect — on a quiet street, but still close to all the main attractions. We would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

Breakfast could be better. It was a pot of yoghurt, and one small orange juice per person (both excellent) and bread & jam. Actual coffee (not 3 in 1) would have been super useful as the nearest coffee shop is a climb away. But the main thing that reduced our comfort is the fact that the windows don't seal when closed and since there is a (very picturesque) railway line outside & road, the 04:10 am train each day woke me up. But if the windows were adjusted a little so they seal, this issue would easily be solved and the room would have been perfect.

The bathroom was a 'wet room' and it was very off-putting to have a shower and try to manage the water going onto the floor around the toilet and sink too. We had to mop up with a spare towel to be able to walk on it without getting wet afterwards. The parking in this old part of town is tight. Coffee machine out of order when we were there.

Historic, period building felt very much part of the old town and the quaint street it is situated on. Very clean, great facilities in shared kitchen to prepare own breakfast. Great location.

I would love the terrace to have a view from the table seats and also breakfast option in the morning.

An amazing authentic old building. With handcrafted furnitures. Everything was perfectly clean, it smells nice when you enter and the host Is very polite. She even stopped working to tell us about the story of the building and to answer our questions. The beds are nice and confortable, you have all the amenities for shower and a fridge in the room. For the location - no words. Perfect location and good for travellers without car .

The Cons: - The shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom so you will have some water splashing, allthough the drainage is very good. - I didn't quite like the lighting, the room seems dark with artificial lighting. - Allthough there is an area when you can cook in the morning you had no coffee option (there was a coffee dispenser but it was out of order).

The pros: - Very Good location in the heart of Veliko Trnovo. - Historic house so if you like an XIX century vibe this is the house. - Well equipped.

Extremely nice historic house located in the very heart of Old Town Veliko Tarnovo. The two rooms that we reserved were exeptional and the best part is that the hostoric value of the place is completely preserved. The house is only a minute away from the central street that runs through the city and one of the best restaurants,coffee shops and bars are literally 2 minutes away from it. Our host was extremely welcoming.
