Smelly ansashex curtains, dirty floors, bathroom without hookers pr shelves to leave stuff on. Very noisy at times 'can hear people on the corridors.

Inflexible check-in. You must pay a fee, if you want to check-in after 7pm. There was AC but the staff turned it on just for few hours during the day (1pm-4pm), then came to the room and turned it off. And we do not have working AC during the evening and night. That was uncomfortable. We booked 4 bed room, but there was only 3 regulat beds and one arm chair, which is able to turn in a bed. But the armchair bed was really uncomfy. The cleanlines of bathroom was not in top. There was a smell of pee. The shower has no showerhead. The water comes only from the top.

Perfect location, interesting old building with high ceilings. Clean sheets and towels. Good check-out time (11am). Regular beds are comfortable.

Old dilapidated building. Strange unregulated air conditioner. The room is dark and there are problems with ventilation - a strange smell from the air conditioner and a constant smell of smoke if you open the windows. No controls for tv, air conditioner. Shared freedge

The pictures are not the same like room. The things in the room are very old. The kitchen and bathroom are common. There is TV but it doesn't work.

The location is great, centar of the city. Staff is very good. The owner is very kind. We made a deal to pay addional for checking in after 21h.

The initial response regarding a late check in , which may have come from the owner or the agent was unsatisfactory. I called and spoke to the owner who was more obliging. Expect to pay for arriving after 6pm. Annoying policy because transport is not always reliable and delays happen. We arrived at night and if it was not for an experience taxi driver we would have not found it ourselves. A small in distinct plaque well above eye level on the outside is not sufficient day or night.

The drainage smell makes it hard to use the bathroom. The shower has little water coming out. TV is not working.

The location is not far from central area. The staff is friendly although has limited English.

The TV does not work, and there is no controller to open and close the air conditioning. I contacted the manager of this room, but there was no quick reply. After several days, there is a reply, saying that the TV does not work, and the air conditioning cannot be controlled by the guests.

The shower/toilet/sink are all in the same space (which is typical for Bulgaria) but this was a problem cos the water didn't drain easily, meaning you are standing in a puddle using the sink after showering. Also there was no hook to hang my towel on, so I had to lie my towel on the floor outside the bathroom. Some more hooks and counter tops in the main room would also have been nice. Hopefully these things can easily be fixed.

Location was great, opposite an awesome cafe and not too far from the tram or metro. The bed was comfortable, nice old floorboards and secure door lock. Aircon used as heater made room comfortable.

The lady was extremely sweet and helpful. I loved the architecture of the building (I think it was built in 1914), but it needs considerable renovation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, however, I'd prefer them a little warmer. In my opinion the price is a bit too high for what they have to offer. Overall, I'm pleased with my stay, this place has a certain magic to it.

The shower had either really hot or cold water. Couldn't get a medium warm shower. Also the WiFi was slow and I missed a rubbish in my room.

The amazing friendly host welcomed me for the check in and explained shortly what I can find where. The bed was very comfortable and the whole room clean.

The toilets didn't flush properly, no free parking and our car got clamped in literally less than 10 minutes (to be fair, I misread the advertised parking as free parking, it isn't, get blue zone parking permits), hallways were ice cold, kitchen literally on other side of building (have to walk outside and around), quiet hours were definitely not respected by 2 very horny upstairs neighbours, constant pushed adverts about buying a shuttle bus to Sofia in every automated message about anything despite opting out

The price (40 euros for a private sleeping room for 4 people in the centre of Sofia), the room had good heating thanks to the AC unit, WiFi was pretty good for a hostel

- it was very cold in the room, the heater didn’t work, I had to sleep in warm clothes - the bathroom isn’t very comfortable, because you splash water everywhere when taking a shower - pretty old furniture - no table in the room, I would rather have a table instead of a huge couch

Unfortunately, the property leaves a lot to desire despite the low price. The rooms in the back of the house are very dark and humid. There is an unpleasant odor from the bathroom. Due to the lack of a designated shower area, when you shower in the bathroom, everything becomes wet including the toilet. The air conditioner is controlled centrally by the manager which is not very convenient. I have also noticed a lot of the other visitors have complained about the rules around check-in and I also do not find the system very efficient. Basically, check-in between 18:00-21:00 is only possible after contacting the property to agree on the time and for an extra fee.

The price per night is very competitive and the location is good (the as the property is conveniently located close to a metro station and within walking distance of the very city center. Please note that the neighborhood is not the best but also doesn't feel too unsafe either. The communal kitchen has all the needed items. The staff was easy to reach and very polite.
