Amazing location, right in the middle of the old town (Samovodska charshia) with wonderful views of both historic fortresses of Tarnovo. The hosts were very attentive and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfy, much appreciated! As a bonus, there was a great DK guidebook on Bulgaria to browse. Highly recommended!

The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional. Warm and welcoming people who made me feel at home. The guesthouse is perfectly located, with a beautiful view of the fortress. In the evening, seeing the illuminated fortress, felt like being in a fairy tale, and the mornings with coffee in front of this view were unforgettable. The location is close to all the main tourist attractions, the apartment I stayed in was clean and comfortable, and the hosts communicate well in both English and German. I perceived them not just as hosts, but as friends. This is definitely my home in Veliko Tarnovo, and I can’t wait to return!

A closet would have been useful for the clothes (if there is enough space to place it in the room) but we got no issues with the lack of if whatsoever.

We loved everything. The room is large enough for 2 people. It was exceptionally clean, the hosts waited for us to help with the parking and to hand the keys. They were very friendly and great people. Every little corner was spotless, the bed is comfortable, the lights are a great touch for mood ambiance and the details of the decorations are chosen with such great taste. The bathroom was big enough for us and we had a nice view over the fortress so we got to see the Lights Show at 10pm. The price was also very fair. Thank you, Mira! 10/10 ⭐️

The room is just like a very nice hotel room. Everything was perfect. The view is amazing of the old fort, probably the best view you can get. The parking is a bit difficult but Ed let them know when we arrived and the owners son was very helpful making a space for us. The location is also perfect on the old town close to everything.

Fantastic hosts, spacious room, very comfortable. Bed was great, view was terrific, the AC was on when we entered so it was warm and cozy. We were greeted at the door and one of the hosts even saved us a parking space right in front of the guest house. Very kind people, can't recommend them enough!

Mira is a fantastic host, she was very welcoming and went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating! The guest rooms are located within walking distance of all of the sights and the main area of town. The view of the fortress from my room was fantastic. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and I felt very safe as a solo traveler. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here!

The room's location was fantastic—within easy walking distance to all the major attractions. We didn't have a car, but thanks to the convenient location, we never needed to use public transport or taxis. The host and her son were also incredibly kind and welcoming.

Driving and parking on a narrow cobblestone street in Old Town can be tricky.

We liked everything

The room is exactly like the photos, maybe a little bigger than I expected. It's beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a great shower and good air conditioning, which we needed because the weather was very hot. We had a great view of the fortress, which is only a 10 minute walk away. It was a bonus seeing the sound and light show for free from our room. It's a short walk (up and down hilly, cobbled streets!) to the rest of the old town plus the main restaurant area. The host is amazing - she went above and beyond what we expected and helped us with taxis and buses. We highly recommend this place.

There was nothing to dislike.

Mira was exceptional 👏 we were dropped off by our taxi at the wrong location! Mira came and collected us (life saver) she ensured we were settled in before leaving. The following morning she ordered us a taxi to collect our rental car, and again came to the rescue when I left my phone in the taxi! She redirected the taxi to return my phone to me. Awesome service above and beyond 😀 we had stayed in this room on a previous visit, great location, very comfortable bed, air con and clean. Will stay again in the future.

The location was perfect! It is very close to Samodivskata Charshiya and the centre. It has an amazing view towards Trapezitza and Tzarevetz. Mira is an amazing host. The facility was very well furnished, decorated, maintained and exceptionally clean.

Thin walls, so it can be noisy if you're unlucky with loud neighbors. Luckily for us after midnight it was all silent.

Amazing view from the room over the fortress, right on the edge of the bazar. Mira reserved a parking spot for us just outside the building.
