The ruined buldings around, which are not their fault. Still, the area was safe and easy to get to the center by walk.

Hosts very kind and nice, private parking, very clean, big room with double bed, two twin beds, sofa and table; also a kitchen area were you can make a coffee, tea (for free), drink something or eat a meal. everything very enjoyable. Good location, close to the center by walk.

The location is tricky as you have to walk through a bit of a dilapidated creepy section to come from the main street. I would not as a woman be happy to walk that part alone. It's not far though. I've no idea if it was safe or not.

The staff were friendly. Lovely kitchen facilities. Parking was available. Comfortable room.

Good location, just 5 min to city center. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very supportive and provide good advices. There is a common living / kitchen area very comfy and with everything you need. Good parking spots near the location. .

This guesthouse was simply perfect - walking distance to the city center, welcoming and super helpful staff, spotless and spacious modern rooms, nice common kitchen, parking option. Suitable for families with small children too, baby cot was available and waited us in the room as promised. Price was really reasonable. Definitely recommended.

The heat was coming from AC so we had to leave it open over the night.

Clean and nice, light apartments. Feeling like at home. Many real green flowers at the hall and shared kitchen which makes this place cosy. 6 minutes down to the street and you will find the central street with DM market. The nearest small supermarket with food is in 5 minutes. Own small parking. Big coffee machine at the shared kitchen with dishes and all necessities.

Super clean!!! The glasses in the room were sparkling clean and covered with a protective film. There was no trace of plaque on the faucet in the bathroom. see pics. No dust under the beds (my kids played under them). There is an air recuperator in the hotel, it means you have fresh air while you sleep. No need to open windows. Good coffee in the canteen! There are two fridges there. I put kids food there overnight. It's the first time I left a hotel thinking that it's cleaner than my own house!

The room was really big, we had a double bed and two single beds and the kids still got plenty of room to roam freely. Also the fact that it was at a walking distance from the hot spot of the city was a big plus. The lady that checked us in was really sweet and helpful. Highly recommend.

We booked 3 quadruple rooms, 2 premium one comfort. The premium ones were bigger with a couch and smart tv , the comfort was smaller, standard tv, no couch (we did not need it either way) but also good. All rooms were extremely clean. The shared kitchen was a very nice bonus, very well equiped , clean, and the coffee for the coffee machine very good. Very kind and helpful hosts.

We had an amazing stay at Gile Guest House. We've been here many times before, and each time the room was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. Despite the abnormally high temperature outside, the room was well-ventilated, and the air was incredibly fresh. The shared kitchen is well-equipped with everything guests may need (including two large fridges), and the coffee available is very tasty. For us, Gile Guest House is the perfect place to stay in Veliko Tarnovo.

It was all good.

This was the cleanest room I have ever stayed. Owner of the hotel and the employees were also great and they were always keep in touch with us during olur trip. We will stay there again for sure. For the Turkish guest, this hotel is a great destination as you are traveling from Romania or Bulgaria back to Turkey.

Don’t be disheartened by comments regarding the vicinity of the hospital. This is an excellent place to get some rest. We were greeted by a very warm host who gave us all the necessary directions and some very useful recommendations.
